Can share how is the ride so far? nice? how much you paid for? i like this too...what are the features along with this 45amg

Ride's fine, just like any turbo car... wait till the turbo kicks in at about 2k+ rpm and it moves along nicely. :)

Paid about S$290k+ for it but I guess it is about S$270k+ now due to the dropping COEs?

My advice is to wait for the 2016 version where it comes with a better transmission and suspension and more importantly, a bit more POWER! [bounce1]

Just curious, why you want to install start stop?

I know a lot of owners from Mazda to BMW to Benz do not like this feature and some have gone outside to have if permanently switch off. I know the environmentalist will be up in arms over this but frankly you won't want it if you have it and the savings in FC I believe are minimal.

I think he's referring to press button to start engine and press button to stop engine

Oh ok thks for the clarification, thought he wanted to install the auto start stop which cuts off the engine when its stationery for awhile like at traffic lights. Trust me, not something you would like as an owner or driver but admittedly it's good for the environment.

your price is before over trade right? usually over trade of 30-40k.. so effective price of yours should be around 250k.. right....do you enjoy the cracking exhuast note?

PM-ed you about what I paid for the GLA.

Yes, the crackling sound of the exhaust only happens when you switch to Sports/Manual mode. In Comfort mode, it is just quiet. :)

2016 or 2017 versions should have keyless go. It is currently an option on US cars though.

Mine's old school. :)

Oh and the Start-Stop function is very irritating. And apparently you cannot turn it off permanently. Now my left arm has muscle memory to turn it off once I get into the car. :P

Nope normal gla180

congrats on your new ride.

a friend of mine got GLA180. told me it came with electric seats + memory -> i recall someone commented only merc c200 comes with memory seats, c180 no memory.

so, it is rather surprising that this car features premium features such as memory seats, but no keyless entry + start/stop button (which my BB toyota wish comes with)…...

i bought the GLA during the roadshow (2K roadshow special, cum 12K overtrade) + many extra (you can PM me) , car arrive in late dec, but i insist on delivery only first week of Jan, cos register as 2016 car.

as my ride is still less than 1000km, i cannot "rev" the car and cannot give a full complete review, but normal driving is really very smooth, very quiet ... it is not a POCKET ROCKET, more of a cruiser ... point a to point b

fuel comsumption, my is quite bad, about 1L - 10KM, even though i put on ECON mode cum very light foot, but there are a fwe disclaimers

my place to work (CBD)  is super super heavy traffic, like 200-300 meters traffic, but if i top up and travel expressway, i can get much better readings... so my figures may not be the best

my car is still very new, so maybe after 2000km or after first service, will give a better number

i am on the stock Yoko Comfort RUN FLAT tyre, (very heavy), so if change to back to the traditional tyres...which is lighter.... fuel may improve...

best part of owning a GLA is the looks ... it is still very very rare on the roads...

really got people turn and check u out! ;-)

my does not come with the Start/Stop

if your GLA is not from C&C , you can go ahead and zeng to your heart content

if not, you must be prepared to forgo your warranty .... is that what you are want?

like wat many old birds say. WANT TO ZENG, NOT SCARE

IF SCARE, NO ZENG
