I still can't wrap my head around the look of the Macan, even though in terms of luxury, driveability, it wins the GLA 45 AMG.

Tentatively Nov/Dec 2014. Sianz.

Indent order deliver in 3 months sounds about right. 4 months is for their insurance in case something screw up in between. afterall AMG engines are handmade.

I assume it has been homologated by LTA.

August production has been stopped so earliest production slots are in September.

1st car already in LTA homologation.

Haven't tried test driving the 200/250 yet though. [lipsrsealed]

Yeah, I guess so. Hence didn't bother to test drive the 200/250. Just waited for the spec list to come out before jumping in.

Full options for the GLA45 AMG except for the following items (which I found quite redundant):

Designo Mountain Grey Magno - matt colour

Lane Tracking Package - Not for me

AMG Aerodynamics Package - rear wing + canards

Edition 1 - Go faster stickers :)

Blind Spot Assist - Not for me

Distronic Plus - Not for me

Sidebags in the rear - Not for me

Pre-Safe System - Not for me

Panoramic sliding sunroof - will bring back the delivery by another few months as LTA has to homologate the car again

Cheerio!

Actually, if not for the cost of $7900 extra, i would seriously consider this option -- Designo Mountain Grey Magno - matt colour

Its special, scratch resistant, and almost maintenance free.

Only thing is, once car kena hit, no way any workshop in Singapore can get back the same coat of paint.
