comegetme 2nd Gear March 5, 2014 Share March 5, 2014 All these talk about saving water is IMHO...crap. Coz everywhere I go cars are spanking clean. To be honest I can't be bothered coz I know most are like me. Well, at least I'm not a hypocrite. Can't comment much on others. if everyone thinks like you, then we are doomed as a country such selfish mentality....tsk tsk..... I could slap you some sense into you if I am standing beside u ↡ Advertisement

Watwheels Supersonic March 5, 2014 Share March 5, 2014 if everyone thinks like you, then we are doomed as a country such selfish mentality....tsk tsk..... I could slap you some sense into you if I am standing beside u Hahaha.... You try lor. I think its because there wasn't any rain recently thats why the cars are clean. Mine not washed for more than 3 weeks already but still very clean cuz haven't rained yet. Whenever get alittle bit dusty just need to use a cloth and some quick detailer to wipe the car. For me one week already very dusty. Can see a white layer covering the car.
Deckbuild 6th Gear March 6, 2014 Author Share March 6, 2014 Prease lah. Just go and wash lah. If critical to the point of emergency we will be seeing a lot of ppl leaving the island. What emergency? LoL... Nowadays ppl are so rich. It's not a problem for them. This is just like what Sitoh says, "out of touch" ppl are too rich, they don't give a damn to anything other than themselves where kids do wrong in school but parents still defend their kids.... Because this is a car forum, thats why bring up don't wash car for the period. With the save water in mind for current situation attitude, it will help Singapore tide over current drought, we can't be waiting till we really run out of water before regretting not saving like our neighbour over at Malaysia where more and more states starts to ration water already and cloud seeding doesn't fill up the reservoir at all..... Vhtfhwlego Supercharged March 6, 2014 Share March 6, 2014 There should be a stop timer device that can cut water from flowing for more than 15mins. Can some MCF inventors think of this device ? I only want 10% stock share for my idea. I'm importing such meters for one of my cilent. But he hardly sold any for the last year or so.

Tigerwoods Turbocharged March 6, 2014 Share March 6, 2014 I'm importing such meters for one of my cilent. But he hardly sold any for the last year or so. It has to be marketed as a product of control to the relevant govt agencies instead.

Zanter 3rd Gear March 6, 2014 Share March 6, 2014 Can use those hand pumped pressured bottle sprays filled with a little carwash liquid. Spray on and dry off. I heard its possible to mix a lttle kerosene with water for a waterless wash but haven't tried myself.

Most of the public taps in SG are auto shut off by spring mechanism, maybe thats why the poor sales?
Vhtfhwlego Supercharged March 6, 2014 Share March 6, 2014 I'm no engineering in trade but I try to explan as much as possible. Dont know why need a time-stop meter where there are plenty of flow-stop meters.
Nzy Twincharged March 6, 2014 Share March 6, 2014 For me one week already very dusty. Can see a white layer covering the car. If its just dusty only can use those waterless wash or Quick detailers to wipe the car. Don't need any water and the car will still be clean. Less tiring than washing the car also. Karoon Turbocharged March 6, 2014 Share March 6, 2014 we're topping up our reservoirs with desalinated and newater. problem is the reverse osmosis process consumes lots of electricity, about 5kWh/m3. That's an additional cost of $1/m3 from these new sources. Today users are charged $1.50/m3. So all these news reports are leading on to something...

Just put those things on the road that create piezoelectricity. Imagine putting on all the express ways. Every time a car drives over it, it create electricity. Every time there is a jam we are creating a lot of electricity. I thot we had smart people in planning, how come it me that always have to come up with these good ideas?
