Windwaver Turbocharged February 20, 2014 Share February 20, 2014 Have you come across prices for economy rice that you find absurd? I ever ordered mushroom (and some other vegetable another time which I avoid now) and the stall owner can tell me it's the same price as meat (on the receipt, it's labeled as pork chop/sotong). I didn't ask for a change as I it's already in the plate but I will avoid MUSHROOMS in future. I just don't understand why some vegetables are so expensive. Do you have a habit of asking for the individual prices before you order economy rice (if prices are not stated)? ↡ Advertisement

Why no lobster or abalone and apply as prawn prices also. Why the prawn they use not the slipper prawns or XXL ones like those in newton. Heck, in the end vegetables or meat or seafood whatever type is still food what... Why they charge different prices? I just don't understand why some food is so expensive.... P.S: to be fair, I don't usually eat economy rice

Point-point rice sellers are not best known for their ecology. Most do not know the difference betweem gallus-gallus and anus-anus. Math is also an area that they generally don't excel in especially with complex formulas such as If 3v = $3.00 & 1m + 3v = $4.50, then 2m + 2v cannot be $6.50.
