If I were BR, I would expose City's back line with our attacking pace. I think their defence is not as watertight as Chelsea. They play a high line of defence and if Coutinho, Sturridge, Sterling and Suarez use their pace well, then its advantage Liverpool. Gerrard need to partner Lucas to stifle their midfield dynamo, Toure and Fernandinho. Henderson and Lucas should take turns orchestrating attacks from the back. Hopefully Gerrard and Lucas partnership could cover our attacking fullbacks when they join in the attack.

Bro,

If Suarez, Sturridge, Sterling and Coutinho plays... we can trouble any defence... maybe except for West ham kekeke

But if u wan Gerrard and Lucas to nullify Fernandinho and Toure and still want Henderson to join the two holding players in midfield, we are left with 3 defensive outfield slots.... sounds like a 3-3-4 to me...

Then nothing to worry liao.

Saurez 29 goals and 11 assist Rating 8.59

DS 20 goals and 7 assist Rating 7.63

SG 3goal 10 penalty (:P) 9 assist Rating 7.7

We have more power player than him.

4-5-1 when defending. then switch to 3-4-3 or 3-3-4 in attack

the first link you show. his rating is lousy against top team. only good again not so good team. he might just be that weak link despite his strong showing against top team.

Not a good news...

Liverpool vs. Chelsea Could Be Moved to Aid Blues' Champions League Charge

Chelsea's top-of-the-table clash with Liverpool later this month could be moved to aid the Blues' Champions League campaign.

The West London outfit made it through to the last four of Europe's elite club competition on Tuesday, winning 2-0 at Stamford Bridge after a 3-1 first-leg loss, to oust Paris St-Germain on the away-goals rule.

The Premier League has confirmed it will move one of Chelsea's games this month to avoid them having to play twice in three days, as reported by Matt Barlow in the Daily Mail:

The Premier League insist they must be fair to all 20 clubs and not help only those involved in Europe but they have confirmed Chelsea will not be asked to play on a Sunday before a Champions League semi-final game on a Tuesday.

Friday's Champions League draw will confirm which of Chelsea's semi-final legs will be played on a Tuesday rather than a Wednesday.

Whichever of Chelsea's two Sunday Premier League games scheduled later this month precedes this leg, home against Sunderland on April 20 and away to Liverpool on April 27, will then be moved.

This will be something of a comfort for manager Jose Mourinho, who complained last month that Premier League teams in Europe are hamstrung by domestic fixture lists.

As noted in Barlow's article, the Portuguese complained: "Maybe it does not matter what English clubs do in Europe."

Hopefully by then, Pool will have the season wrapped up :) Or Chelsea will have their "wrecked out" :)

Just start to attack them from the 1st whistle !

Maybe a long loop from the centre after the 1st whistle blown, and catch their keeper off-guard ?!

I think his formation is such.

Flanagan, skirtel, aggrr, Glenn Johnson.

Lucas,Gerard,,Henderson

Sterling, Saurez, sturridge.

Couthino wasn't in his starting line up.

Okay I saw he got couthino. When he mention pace.. I though he not playing.

think we have to go back to BR's intent if we leave out Coutinho.

what is BR's strategy?

To grab a quick goal and force Man City to attack?

To choke Man City in midfield and gain control?

Maybe BR will be cautious and put up a 4-4-2 Diamond with either Coutinho or Sterling playing at the top of the diamond?

IMO i will keep Coutinho on the bench

I hope BR will be adventurous, and not be cautious.

If Pool were to sit back, we will be overrun by them.

Best to attack them cos attack is the best form of defense.

Grab a goal first, and then force them to attack; in this way, we can counter-attack using our pace to grab more goals.

Midfield will be vital, maybe diamond can choke yaya ...

Both managers will be out to win this game, I think. Pool has to win this for shitty to lose its one game in hand advantage. Shitty must win in order to stake its claim on the league title.

Yup attack is the best form of defence.

Sterling was too fast for Zabaleta and he was yellow carded.

We should also play Coutinho as he played so well against City he evn scored.

I think Sterling also had a goal disallowed for a poor off side decision

and Hart was MOM saving from Suarez and Henderson.

We also didn't get a penalty when Lescott pulled down Suarez in the box.

:D

Its ok if the Pl change the Chelsea game so that they are fresher against us.

Playing at home I think we can still beat them.

:D

Turbocharged

so it helps to have a big mouth now that FA will help chelsea. n the FA is so dumb they contradict themselves : "The Premier League insist they must be fair to all 20 clubs and not help only those involved in Europe but they have confirmed Chelsea will not be asked to play on a Sunday before a Champions League semi-final game on a Tuesday."

they wont help, but they r helping. power....mourinho will b the next fergie. open mouth only FA will bow down.
