Skrtel is repaying BR's faith in him this season. Agger - not so, sell to Barca lah -_- We certainly need a commanding CB that can organise & fark our back 4 well. As for MF, we still need a tough CM, not necessary a DM seeing how BR sets his team to accomodate Ah Lao. Sad to say, Lucas is not integral to the team now. But he should be able to fight for a place with Allen - after all he wasn't a DM back in Gremio

Haha GH was criticized for playing 4 central mid across the middle.... now we SG, JH, JA and PC/RS in the middle...

If we put Lucas in to replace PC or RS with JH playing at the tip of Diamond, wonder what will GH haters say...

We can consider doing that against Man City or Chelsea.... to stifle their midfield since we hv the best 2 man strike force in the league

i think GH sides are more cautious in their approach... do not concede, score on the breakaway via a heskey nod down to mickey... hence visually GH teams are very compact in nature aim at squeezing the life out of opponents mf.

Current liverpool team may have 4 across the middle, but one of the FB is almost playing like winger, and most important: their mentality: i dun care how many u score, i am gonna score more than u.. almost like newcastle in the 90s, except quite a bit more steel

Not that I study how they play in detail... think u hit it right on the nail... BR set up a team with a commitment to attack while GH set up a defensive anvil with lightning fast counter strike

I think the key difference is BR try to win balls higher up the pitch while GH's team try to suck the opponent into the midfield battlefield....

This team is better in attacking but I think they might find it tough against the 2001 team (that destroyed Roma 2-0)

Think it will great if we strike a balance between the two... imo a formation that switches between from a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 is the most ideal

really no class. I tot he is one of the nicer manure players , deep inside brainwashed by old fart to hate Liverpool

no wonder couldn't care less cos he Hao lian make this boast before the match:

He said: As a former United player, of course, I would enjoy putting a dent in Liverpools title hopes. I would only want us [Cardiff] or United to win the title.

Just watched the highlights on footytube.

Our defending really NTA lol.

Frazier campbell's 2nd goal and the 3rd goal ...

I liked Henderson's pass to overlapping GJ which created the 1st goal.

Have to say that all the big teams are showing their ruthless sides this week. Some of the best finishing I've seen all season from the front 3 teams.

Eto's goal against Arsenal also stood out.

Really great football.

Have to give credit to Rooney who scored a superb goal reminiscent of the Suarez/Alonso/Beckham's strike.

Yaya's third goal against fulham. What a strike.

I think he's a very young manager. He just can't be bothered to be diplomatic given he's in relegation battle.

Actually from all accounts, Solskjaer is a liverpool fan when he was younger. I dunno whether he is still one lol.

Matt Busby was a liverpool player.... liverpool gave them their first post war successful manager...

In any case, Solskjaer was right... he couldnt care less abt EPL title... he will be more watchful on championship title.... most probably his interest for next season

Anyway he will be interested in our next game.... sounds like a cliche but the most important game: against Sunderland

Think I got some facts wrong.... top scoring duo for premier league was Cole n Beardsley... not Cole and Yorke

http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/liverpool-threaten-shearer-beardsley-premier-league-goals-record-sturridge-shearer/

Anyway we need 24 team goals to leap frog Chelsea's 103.

SAS needs 9 more to better Cole and Beardsley

Suarez needs 7 more to reach 35... one more than Shearer and Cole (though they did it over 42 games)

Sturridge can join Fowler n Suarez in club 25 with 6 more

So we need both Suarez n Sturridge and one other player to score for each of the 8 games and it will be a record breaking year!
