BabyBlade Internal Moderator January 27, 2014 Author Share January 27, 2014 They will never be able to inplement this $500 fine for boarding of packed train. The trains are packed like sardine everyday. This was why I was so determined to stop taking public transport. Anyway previously while queuing up to board the train, there would always be one person (mostly females) who would squeeze, push and shove their way in though it's already packed. Tempted to just kick them in.

Baal Supersonic January 27, 2014 Share January 27, 2014 really scratch head why this way is illegal? Because they are unable to tax it? red eyes? But again if its during office hours, the trains are a lot less pack. Not as though these deliveries bring in by the pallet load into the train. Kangadrool Supersonic January 27, 2014 Share January 27, 2014 Transferring goods between paid and unpaid area is interesting... As is throwing "missiles" reckon, it is trying to say, transferring things over the gates/turnstails/barricades. I have seen people transferring babies over it though.
Watwheels Supersonic January 27, 2014 Share January 27, 2014 I do not think there's an enforcer to enforce the rather ridiculous rules. Unless there are ppl with disturbed minds try to challenge the mrt staff dan they will be able to use these rules to "defend" themselves.

SMRT did came out to explain why some years back - something along the line of "not meant to be a place of business. Like you cannot just go and open a table sell stuff in premise" PLANT are commonly used to meant machineries in the industries. Anyway, Seoul subway lets you eat and drink, heck, they even have food and drinks stalls, vending machines setup inside the paid area and platform. And i've seen people selling stuff in makeshift stalls (a couple of tables with the wares displayed on it) in the paid area of the station.

When such a passenger tries to rush into the train while I am getting out, sometimes I just deliberately walk into him and use my body/shoulder to push him out of my way!! If I happen to be holding a drink, I make sure it spill onto his shirt. ↡ Advertisement
