Melvinyuen 2nd Gear March 31, 2014 Share March 31, 2014 I have used this tyre for a month plus. had 4000KM with it and so far so good. Decent quiet and yes CHEAP. 195/65/R15. Got from Comfort Delgro for $105 a piece I think. And Lifetime Nitrogen and tyre patching. Was using yoko Earth 1 previously but it skidded when wet. This BluEarth is good compared to that. Better wet grip

Deckbuild 6th Gear April 1, 2014 Share April 1, 2014 XM2 thread wear is quite high, 420 if not wrong, I'm running near to 60k now and it's still quite new. I'm just looking for even quieter tyres than XM2
quojake Neutral Newbie April 1, 2014 Share April 1, 2014 (edited) I'm also considering the AE50. Called Soh Brothers and they said they don't stock dB E501 cos of customer complaints. Now to decide between 1.Eng Wah AE50 @ $140 2. Eng Wah GR90 @ $178 3. Soh Bro CPC2 @ $140 For 205/50/R16 Any thoughts? Ps: I'm looking for comfort and quiet. Portal28 Neutral Newbie April 25, 2014 Share April 25, 2014 Just changed from Yokohama S-type to the AE50 at Soh Tyre Battery Enterprise at AMK. Using 185/55/R15. Full set cost me 440. Definitely quieter than the stock S-type and still made in Japan. Will post more comments after a bit more driving.

Pratakosong 2nd Gear May 14, 2014 Share May 14, 2014 Changed at Soh Brothers (Ang Mo Kio) 195/55-R15 Yokohama BluEarth AE50 for $120 per tyre. Previous tyres were Michelin XM2. Felt that XM2 is quieter but AE50 handles better. Will post updates after the first 10,000km.
SimonLam 1st Gear October 23, 2014 Share October 23, 2014 I have also just switched to a set of 4 AE50 185/55/R16 tyres on Honda Jazz. Can feel the difference: - Quiet, less bumpy and comfort - better grip in cornering and control No regrets in this cost effective MIJ tyres. Will check back again after 10,000km run.
