I'm also lazy.. But I'm also poor.. So I will save on things that is easily managed by DIY. This is really just clip off and clip on.. Filter costs half the price that AD quoted. Dunno about ws outside.

True. Filter doesnt cost much when you buy outside yourself. Maybe can change two filters of the price that AD charge for one filter.

Looks expensive.

You rich man. [laugh]

Looks expensive??? The price is there for everyone to see liao.. $26.75.. So much cheaper than changing a rim for $500+ or respray bonnet for $200+ each time. So who's richer?? Edited by Buadongdong

Is it useful to install the front sensor on the city? Inexperienced driver, scathing the front bumper with wall of carpark. Not sure whether the front sensor can help. Thanks

Its definitely helpful, though a bit excessive..

Thanks a lot. One more question, as this part is not common item, Kah motor not keep to stock. While if I want to install outside with other workshop, the warranty might be the issue and Kah motor refer this  quite " subjective". Any experience to share the modification and warranty issue? Thanks

As long as the car is not stock or modification not done in Kah motor’s workshop, it may be subjected to Kah motor’s right to reject the warranty. Eg if one changes the rims, any damages to the suspension may point to the cause of rims, or electrical installation that causes malfunction to the ignition of engine.

Of course, one can argue or prove there is no connection to the Installation, but the decision is still Kah motor’s.

Bottom line is what risks are you willing to take. Perhaps after the 3 or 5 years’s warranty, It doesn’t matter anymore.

Appreciate for the reply. We decide to install this when doing the next service at Kah motor. As still within warranty, better to be safe. Thanks

Why not you ask KM SA directly and see their response? Front sensors are harmless just like the rears.. Shouldnt have any issues. Don't quote me on it. Its just my opinion. Ask KM for a more definitive answer.

Just dropped off city at KAH for 80,000km servicing, or to quote SE super major servicing.

Was reminded I have an ongoing servicing package, will still be charged wear and tear, and NEED to flush carbon and flush engine, plus the change of air-conditioning belt. The belt change I'm okay to accept, they need to make a bit as well, but seriously the flush..

Not exactly a hard sell by KAH but owners please don't ever feel obliged to just accept everything wholesale from the SE.
