Hello bros,

Just out of the curious, is there anyway we can install any gps application to the touchscreen entertainment system on the City SV?

Just booked mine at KM, and finger cross for the coe bidding !!

Thanks !

Don’t think it is possible to do that on the stock HU unless the HU has been replaced with a better features ones lately. The stock HU is just a simple radio, MP3 player via USB or phone over Bluetooth and able to make and receive calls.

Better to use phone GPS apps instead.

I use it mainly along KPE during off peak hours. The cruise controls are on the steering wheel right side.

Accelerate to your desired speed, press the cruise button followed by the set (it's the down directional button). Release the accelerator and it will maintain at your set speed.

To disable it, just press the cruise/cancel button at the centre of the directional button or tap your brake. The cruise control will disengage immediately but don't expect it to decelerate to a dead slow. Braking will be more effective to disengage and slow down the car immediately.

I read that the cruise control only work at the speed above 40km/h. I have not try this; only engage at 80km/h.

Our City does not have the adaptive cruise control, hence not advisable to enable it in congested traffic conditions when there is a need to slow down the car due to traffic ahead.

I got a scare when I used it the 1st time. The car was going uphill and it rev up suddenly just to maintain my set speed. Luckily, the car in front of me didn't slow down. Since then, I will disable it when there is a up slope ahead and take over the control. Hence, use it with care and always assess the road conditions ahead.

Thanks for sharing the "How to Knowledge"

Appreciate that.

I was hoping that we could have an in-built GPS. At this price point, I guess, these are the things we have to give away.

Have a Marbella and will live with that.

One question regarding for the battery warranty. As the KM SE throw in the in car surveillance camera, the original warranty of battery was void because he mentioned the camera need work 24 hours. Is this a routine practice? Thanks.

When I collect my car late last year, I was not told that KM would void my battery if the camera is connect directly to it for parking mode recording.

My connection was done by KM and it would not be right for them to do the connection; knowingly that the battery warranty would be voided according to their policy.

Unless things have changed between my collection and now, I suggest to clarify with KM  service centre on this issue. Sometimes, the SE and service centre don't seem to communicate at all.

No problem, that's the purpose of this forum, to share and exchange ideas and hows-to.

Don't complain about FC of 13km/l. My mileage 1200km so far and my FC is 11.5km/l (twice) - 12km/l (once). I mostly make short journeys, a lot of the time in peak hour traffic and almost no highway driving. 2010 Vios used to give me FC of 10km/l under similar conditions (AT). I don't know if the new Vios (CVT) gives better mileage.

I read conflicting reports about whether the Jazz gets better FC than this. I wonder how the Mazda 2, Mazda 3 and the Korean cars compare.

My mz3 is abt 13-16km/l

Btw is used Total mileage divided by liters of petrol

Thanks for your suggestion. This morning call their service center, the lady do mention the warranty is still valid with the installation of in car camera by them. That's true, seems they do have communication issue as you mentioned.

no, no such functionality support.  if you have booked the city, why didn't you book the civic instead, it is going quite a low price which is better value?

Taiwan City have in-built GPS with HUD.

more than that,

6 airbags

led headlamps

full disk all round

I have to say that features and interior , civic is better.

No lah bro, civic is way more over Budget, and my Wife don’t like it as it’s too Low.

Happy Wife, happy life. Hahaaha

Hello bros,

Is there a different between 2017 and 2018 model? Or the FL is all same?

KM told me the car is 2018 manufactured, just want to make sure... hmmm

Does the Civic 1.6 have six airbags? Wasn't it just two?

Good to know. My SE told the same that if I add the 24 hrs monitoring, the warranty will be voided and I have to sign a form

will check with him again

Same sentiments here Haha:-)

I was told that the car is March 18 manufactured. Older manufactured cars get some discounts it seems.

I think he mentioned Taiwan specs for the Civic.

Singapore is still only 2 airbags.

Yah man, only left without SV

Last weekend when I booked my SV, also left not much for stocked colour, 2 whites and 7 red.

According to my SE, all new stocks coming on October will charge extra 2k, I don’t know how true it is.

I opted for the stocked Color, white.

Why extra 2k? More equipment?

Opposite, too sellable all sold out already.

Wow, that's good to hear. More new Citys on the road.  [drivingcar]
