Getzsfv 5th Gear January 20, 2014 Author Share January 20, 2014 Again, possession means nothing wen u can't scored. MANU played well for this first 15 mins but wen eto scored, we just like lost all hope. there is no fgihting spirit in the team. Credit to Chelsea, they were far better team than this current MANU team. Jones was crap again!

Osprey23 Turbocharged January 20, 2014 Share January 20, 2014 Jones was crap again! Didn't watch second half but he was too easily sold by the faint drop of shoulder by Eto'o. He was deployed in midfield if I am not wrong but I feel his natural position should be as a centre back.
Vid Hypersonic January 20, 2014 Share January 20, 2014 The result is expected. That's for a getting a manager who do not know how to sign/attract a single good player. Can't say we do not deserve it.

I didn't watch the match... but I wouldn't go as far as to say he was crap, judging from the match reports. Mourinho had the better of Moyes in terms of players selection and probably we could have done better with the ball in the first half. Jones isn't the most excellent distributor but he is a good ball winner. We could have played with Jones in DM with Fletcher & Carrick in front of him pushing the balls around. I expected we lose this match, but I hope we continue to win against other mid table and lower rung clubs till end of season. 16 more matches to bear. Can't say we do not deserve it. Our team is heading down a downward spiral.. Juz praying the return or rvp & rooney can instill more confidence.. I dont fault welbeck for effort.. But instinctive finishing wise, he is naturally bad. Everyone KNOWS our wingers can't cross for nuts.. why is that problem not fixed in training at all? Or at least see some improvement!! Jone was out of his position most of the time and his man marking is horrendous, I dunno, maybe I was so frustrated with the team than I need some heads to roll... haiz. To be frank, its really demoralising to see my beloved club fall into pieces just like dat. FIne if we dun win the league this season, fine if we dun win any trophy this season but to see the team to this state is really frustrating, ok sorry for the ranting.. Welbeck simply isn't top team quality no matter how hard he tries. Everything is just bad. Not just wingers. Can't defend, can't score. Januzaj is just a kid. Its damn weird to think, just changing a manager can cause so much shit, aking in to conderation we are the same team last season. Worst come to worst, should at least top 4 finish, but now almost likely out of champions league... Meanmachine Supercharged January 20, 2014 Share January 20, 2014 Like i had said earlier post, Devils is not going to win much, at least a cup, if no major injuries to RVP and Rooney or the central defenders, Cpt Vidic did a double take for no apparent reason, did he or did he not went for the ball on Hazard, i think both leg went in and how hazard fell makes Ref a difficult decision to show the red card, I mean I do like Vidic a lot , however as Cpt. of d day, he should have known better. Devils are weak in many areas, it was hard pressed to out best players in best position, Moyes's frustration was not only our strikers were toothless and off-form, clueless in defending and the awkward in attacking must be the trump card for Jose to exploit, Looking at Chelsea reserves, they have plenty of ammo and supply was alive and kicking . . . so Devils were equal to the task only in 1st half. No killers instinct and not a soul but Januzaj stood-up in attacks, waves after waves, he side-step, U-turn his marker, left/ right and bamboozle his way inside 6 yard box, bit lack support and finishing touches, it was damn sickening to watch Glory days is numbered, If we can be top 6, I'll damn happy, we shall come back and fight another season, Rome was not built in a day, So give Moyes a season or two to re-built. The consolation goal by 'Little-pea' was lucky enough as it seems he was at the right place at the right time, Can we rely in Welbeck & Hernadez in attack ? & with Antonia and Januzaj supplying the passes , frankly I dun see it coming as our rivals know Devils sweeping mode to much. Januzaj is the future player of next era...

He was a more I try the higher my chances I get to score one goal... I see Welbeck as more of a Dwight Yorke except he needs to be sharpened on his techniques. For some reason, Cole had a phenomenal number of chances. Maybe the team was really good then and they trusted him to put them away even though he missed many many sitters. Welbeck has been in the team for some time now. At the rate that he is improving, he's not going to be the one leading the attack.

Ahh... back then we had the Golden Right Leg, Giggs at his prime, Scholesy as well... we even had sufficient options like Yorkie, Teddy, Poborsky, Poborsky et al. Today's midfield pales so much in comparison...

I read that... not that I agree with him... but Scholes over his career encompassed many forms of a midfield player. His early games depended heavily on quick, short passing, late runs into the box with a thunderous shot to boot. Later as he lost that knack for his boomers, he transformed his passing skills to a full fledged distribution player like Xavi or Pirlo. If he had all of the above right from the start, it would have been difficult to leave him out of the side.

Scholes wasn't exactly the greatest of players but he played intelligently. He didn't have the best skill nor the best of tackles but he was someone who can pass and shoot pretty well. He was like the average player who everybody is but also one who is consistently playing well. ↡ Advertisement
