Don't mind me saying but before you guys can talk about who to sell, probably have to first figure out what Moyes has in mind to build his team.

When BR took over, I can see how he wants his team to play and hence predicted only Downing and Hendo will be spared from the axe. Downing was eventually moved on due to financial rather than football reasons.

But the fans don't want him back.

Agree. Even those who wanted would have changed their mind after seeing his celebration with that winning goal at OT. I would expect his celebration to be milder in view of his ties with Arsenal.

Robin is injured most times, he need regular injection to pump up the tempo , in order to play 90mins, RVP needs Rooney alongside

As pro footballers, their objective is to score as many goals as possible, Comes Jan when buying and selling process is fast & furious,

dun really think every EPL manager can get the best buy, mostly gonna to be ' panic button purchases ' i mean how much time can a player form Spain, Germany or Asian can showcase the 2nd half of their league, let alone impress the gaffer, not many succeeded though.

Devils weakness is central of the park, we need a holding midfielder and Darren fletcher is the kind of player, but he must be fearless and dare to support the front runners by distributing stray pass, some like Barca dynamo X.Ineista. After Roy Keane, we cant find any one better.

before we sell, we better buy first... our squad not really that big to do a mass clear off....

and its better when we brought someone in, he may raise some players lvl as in they may complement each other.

David Moyes has hinted he will look to bring back some of Manchester United's loan players before splashing the cash in the January transfer window.

The United manager said he would 'try' to bolster his squad when the transfer window opens next month but revealed he could recall his loan player first.

Jesse Lingard, Nick Powell and Ryan Tunnicliffe have excelled in the Championship for Birmingham, Wigan and Ipswich respectively and Moyes said he's considering bringing them back to Old Trafford.

Moyes said: "We will try in January. I am quite actively looking at our own boys. The likes of Jesse Lingard, Nick Powell and Ryan Tunnicliffe.

"We have quite a lot of boys on loan and they are the ones I am making sure we keep eyes on. They are the future. They are part of the club. They have been in the system. We hope they might be able to come back and help in if we need it in January."

We were kinda fortunate to get the 3 points after that calamitous start against Hull. The first 2 goals were really a classic example of poor defending. Thankfully, we managed to raise our game a bit after that and equalised before halftime. The winning goal certainly had an element of luck to it, but i guess we will take it as well. But against a better team, we won't be so lucky again. And what was Valencia doing getting himself sent off for a totally unnecessary and silly incident? If we had conceded a late goal, he would surely have taken the brunt of the blame for leaving us with 10 men. Well at least we moved up to 7th place and hopefully we can continue to push on.

Agree, we are fortunate to win the game, in all fairness, the team is not performing well. Only player who was outstanding is Rooney.Personally i feel Cleverly is too overated and running around luike wonderous monkey in the jungle.

The pathetic win over Hull last evening was nothing great really, it was a win no less, with some help from own goal.

I can see the body language from Rooney that he hardly celebrate nowsaday- a sign of brooding and something is not going right, whether he broods on the idea of new contract deal or wanted out is clearly brewing in a pot.

Defensively, Devils were never like before last season champion, it was only last season when Devils played like hero and things clicked to synchronised clock, the minutes tick to last 5-10 mins left, its all out regime of devils marauding forward if thy are down 1-0 or 2-0. it takes 2 former United trainees to score 2-0 , Game on . . .

Moyes has to play Kagawa more often or he is a waste of his talent on the bench, I like to see Jones and Smalling defensively as central back, Johnny Evan and Vidic pairing. Why Kagawa ?, in a fast game, we need K who can control and have lower central gravity to counter attacks over taller player/s, Kagawa is the player who can do that, he needs more game to exercise his reflexes and the opportunity is clearly a sign of desperation. such talent wasting on a bench.

Central figure of Carrick, Fletcher, Cleverly & Kagawa supporting Rooney, RVP or Henandez / Wellback partnership.

Devils has to discard winger play as it often a tradition of winning in EPL games but not anymore, until we get another top central role star.

Rooney is alone figure spraying inside thru ball passes or set-pieces free-kick, he needs to pep him up or loose him to rivals.

I know Devils cant win all the time, given the scenario, I can assure of at least a cup. no less !

Last nite, rooney celebrated juz fine in my opinion ley..

Kagawa is a player that divides opinions.. Tho most would like to see him play more often. But i do think its not the presence of Rooney that stops him from playing but rather Michael Carrick that stops him from playing. Carrick plays with a preference to go long or sideways and not so much the short forward passes means kagawa won't get the ball often enough.

If you watched a couple of kagawa+gotze+reus+lewandoski clips.. these 4 break at pace and precision.. Something that we only have in patches... either one or the other.. rarely both [shakehead]

Would really love to see a keano style player back playing for us. Miss those days...

btw... david saved us 2 pts last nite... watch the save at 92nd min...

Agreed.

Man Utd needs an influential and really good defensive midfielder or midfielder in the centre.

Someone like Roy Keane or Claude Makelele.

who is this koke guy i keep reading about? any opinions?? still dont think he is what we need tho... mr moyes... please get kevin strootman ley

Koke and Strootman are 2 pretty different kind of players, Koke is your atypical spanish midfielder, blessed with good technique and passing skills while Strootman is a more physical box to box, hard-tacklling kind of midfielder.

I would have gone for Strootman myself as well but Moyes may have missed his chance as Strootman has already transferred to Roma at the start of the season and I don't see him being sold so quickly again.

Tough we love keano, ( one and only ) we can't let his ' poison tongue ' sent shivers down player/s throat, no player are bigger than the club, let alone done extensive damages to the extreme.

What devils really needs is a Robson type of model ( Capt Marvel ), it so hard these days even to simulate one, simply Devils dun have a true no.7

I read all news, gossips with a pinch of salt, only if the player are forth-coming to come to OT, then the deal is much easier to negotiate.

other then pure speculation, or journalist making up stories, i juz junk them.

I was about to quote "Bryan Robson" and you beat me to it. [thumbsup]

I sincerely hope that the January window can afford the current squad someone with such capabilities which had been missing since Keano left some seasons ago.

Bro Yuan,

I'm pretty sure we're in the same era, Whether Moyes buy or get nothing simply : Month Jan is a lousy month to even

start smelling the air as most players are committed to others stuff ; like Euro cup, Champion league, so their concentration are not there to even start negotiation, unless Fergie has one hand in it. I doubt so.

Looking at past history, current squad lacks killing instinct & direction, true United are looking at past glories to be installed, but Devils cannot win all the times, I would be flabbergasted if we did, unless something really happens.

I can only see devils making the Top 5 team, Moyes was the chosen one by Fergie and he needs time and energy to gel with current squad, making them familiar with his method, Can you imagine ArseneWenger did bot win any cup durng his rein@ Arsenal, with shoe-string budget, Arsene did managed to groom player from his academy to star player/s, some fell out, some venture abroad & while others stay on to soldier on . . .

Whatever Moyes does, the spot-light will be on him and it is difficult to win all the times, my concerns is two fold, Can he keep Rooney & shape RVP injury free, if he can do both, it's a bonus, these 2 players are clinical to Man Utd, if you cannot score goals in matches, it is as good as lost, so the card is on the drawing board .

Getting new player/s in is one thing, throwing old player/s out is another, it's a process of all footballers dream come and go, problem is How can Moyes do it better ?
