Is this available in Singapore?

I'm sure it will be a hit here someone decided to bring it in......imagine changing rim color and having a new print design on the rims at a fraction of the price for new rim change...

Well you've been around long enough to know google is your friend [:p]

Hyrdrographic printing/transfer like this has been around for close to 2 decades commercially. A good decade here for car enthusiasts.

cost and availability here is just a simple issues

durability is critical because of if you going to do it on your old used rim , preparation will be important

unlike manufacturer does it in control condition and brand new rim

and once done I afraid you cant restore it back and you got to throw away the rim if you hate the result and peeling off after used

I am sure the service provider will not able to assure you the result and durabilty

my question is: Will the finished print last and durable against weather and small stones?

Print wont last long or nobody will change rims anymore, thy juz change color font and rims and tyre shop will close one after another.

Given times, I'm sure some1 will start tis biz and it will catch on, only the young and restless will dare to go for it, Old Uncle with conti car/s in mind will not.

i also think so the print will not last long. probably will fade after a while. in our singapore local weather this kind of printing hard to survive on the rim material. who knows after one jet wash at the petrol kiosk all the printing design comes off straight away!

there is a different in spray painting and this. chinese saying" 好看不衷用"

dun think they will come cheap if they really are available here.

Ive seen it done on Wheeler Dealers. Much cheaper than carbon fiber stickers.

It was done on the interior trim of a car. Looks damm nice but I dun know how lasting it is.

Hope it becomes avaliable here.

Maybe the first shop to bring in wil charge high but once the competition heats up, the price sud drop to much cheaper.

Definitely one of the most popular questions we have encountered so far. There are actually four Simple yet extremely important steps your item goes through when being subject to water transfer printing.

1. BASE COAT - A special primer and a layer of base coat are applied to prepare your product for water transfer printing.

2. IMMERSION - Your product is carefully immersed into a specially designed water tank to absorb the print pattern.

3. PROTECTION - A protective layer is coated on your newly decorated product. This clear coat acts as a shield against chemicals or other elements which can cause damage over time.

4. EXPRESS OVEN DRYING - Your product goes through comprehensive oven drying for a quality finish. And voila, your product looks rejuvenated.

The clear coat (lacquer) is automotive grade. This quality clear coat will be responsible for giving your new print its luster and long lasting durability. We are more than happy to clear any doubts that anyone may have in our newly start-up thread. [thumbsup]
