Exactly. but I am not going to link it to population policy and their high pay yet.

I am just saying that things would have been much better if they are more willing on accountability.

It is not like Little India got a sudden explosive groups of Bangla that appears over night.

So are we just going to sit and wait for everything that is going to happen every 50 years? No i'm not refering to the ponding problem yet.

now ponding is become a norm so soon riots also become a norm?

time for us to buy our own anti riot suit liao.

Being in the riot control before during my NS, I find it's not easy to control a crowd like this.

First of all, they are coming from all directions which makes it hard for the police to push back unlike guarding a building or certain areas. Also the police cannot act hero and cheong out... during a riot, guardian needs to stand in straight row and lock in shield.

Anyone breaking thru sheild will be pull in and whack hard, but if a guardian act hero he will be pull towards rioter side as well and kena whack. Normally there will be no action to prevent further provocation.

Lucky they self disperse, hopefully more get caught soon.

Should really stop all booze selling after certain hours, no drinking in public and having booze da bao and walking around like in the states...

remind me of this scene... [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Talking about riots.

In the 70's, 80's and 90's till 1997, HK police officers are the most experience in handling riotings. They will have one every now & then... [sweatdrop]

Now the situation had switched over to Thailand.... [sly]

We can only learn in theory from them but cannot send our men to joint in the control.

Little India - large horde of dark skin men milling around every Sunday nights. Generally having a good time, drinking, and crossing roads without regards to traffic lights. It only takes a spark to start a storm. Some driver comes around and knock one of them down. This will not be the last case.

Perhaps the authorities are too complacent to continue letting this go on and not able to contain the situation.

Other potential areas are Lucky Plaza, Geylang, where large crowds gathered.

FW does the work that locals shunned. They are mostly lower educated and easily triggered by mob mentality if they are of the same ethnic group.

FT takes away jobs from locals, but they are usually not of the same mentality as FW.

The hard truth, when there are so many foreigners here.

And they are here only for the money, whereas locals have to live here all their lives.
