GohBoonPinFred Clutched June 12, 2017 Share June 12, 2017 Hi ppl, I have a questions and doubts about hygiene standards of dentist . i realise always when i go to the dentist lie on the chair , the dentist will start to put tools into my mouth , realised that the tools are there and then on the tray already. I went to polyclinic however i saw the dentist take out a bag of tools before using it . i been to 3 to 4 different private dentists never once seen them open a new bag of tools . I wonder did they really sterilised them . How about their handpiece do they sterilised them cos always notice every time patient go in and out very fast. Pretty worried now

Icedbs Turbocharged March 29, 2018 Share March 29, 2018 Just extracted a broken molar tooth today..... But the entire experience was very pleasant. 2 injections were needed, the first one maybe felt like ant-bite for 1-2 second, the 2nd injection I felt nothing. The extraction after that was painless.....I don't even feel any pressure when he pull it out.. I only knew it came out after hearing the tooth dropped onto the metal tray. Anyone who still fear dental, don't be. Today's technology is really good or maybe my dentist skills is good.

I think the website got an online calendar which you can book slots If urgent case, I think can call to make appointment.

Kb27 Supersonic March 29, 2018 Share March 29, 2018 (edited) I had painful teeth not too long ago and thought, it was "sensitive" teeth. Tried all the sensitive toothpaste, but still the pain comes on and off. Finally, I decide to see a dentist and it was a weekend the next day. Googled and found good comment on a nearby dentist but need to make appointment. All right, if you're in pain, you still got time to make appt ? So, I tried one that will take me on, without appt. The nearest to me was Noble dentist group at Yishun. I didn't wait long as I went there early in the morning, even without appt. The dentist did an xray and found a pre-molar with decay at the side. The decay was there for a couple of years now, and eventually it hit the nerve, and that's why the pain. So an xray and extraction didn't cost much, maybe $100+ and it was worth it to be pain free after. So if you can see a crack on a the tooth, better go get it fixed soon, before it gets much worse.
