Some people are saying it's marine clay, so dunno if it's just a matter of washing the stuff away.

 

 

 

Whether it's marine clay or cement, I don't think NEA allow the stuff to be wash away into common drain. Most likely they will get a team from SCDF or private contractor to scope up the stuff and transfer to another truck to be dump somewhere else.

This issue need tp lta to step in. Daily rate no use as bosses just impose min trip per day. They shud prioritise this over catching illigal mods that are perfectly fine in other 1st world countries. Double the demerit pts on these heavy vehicles. Ft speeding in heavy vehicles are getting out of hand. This is called hard striving n hard DRIvInG?

I got stuck while going to Tanan merah ferry terminal....nb the ft heavy vehicle driver din want to give way and block vehicles going to the terminal. Stucked for nearly half an hour in a rd that usually will take 5 mins.....most of the drivers are young fts or old sg uncles!

Thinks he is big and untouchable so drive horribly and recklessly under the safety expenses of other drivers. Can see he speeds, tailgates, travel centre lane and bang onto the taxi. Dunno is it deliberate or not. Maybe unhappy with the "taxi lou' blocking his way because how can he not see a big bright blue taxi infront. Just wondering will the truck driver be paying these dues.

 

a. TP charges him for the traffic offenses.

b. LTA fine him big for the mess.

c. Pay contractors for cleaning the mess.

d. Pay the taxi operator for the repair.

e. Pay the taxi lou salary.

i notice 2 points.

 

1) yes, 10wheeler is going too fast at lane 3.

 

2) taxi brake/slow down while trying to change lane and no car in front?

truck never change lane.

maybe never notice taxi infront and hence hit it.

looks like clear of vehicles infront of taxi too.

quite surprised the truck comes to a stop almost instantly.... that's what i see.

bro, I think lane 3 is splitting lane later at Thomson road..

these heavy vehicles are travelling at super speeds nowadays.. no longer safe in Singapore roads..

when they tailgate behind me I also worry..

I got a feeling the i40 tapped or jammed brakes. but anyway the video is of not much use. but most tipper trucks have DVRs now, maybe this one has a DVR too.
