Home-stay for holiday instead of Hotel? (AIRBNB)

I still prefer to stay in hotel. Probably i am looking for hotel with good location with direct access to mall and nice room makes me feel that i am on holiday.

The missus sorts out our accommodation for our holidays.

 

She uses a few accommodation sites but AirBnB more and more.

 

Never had a problem so far and she's booked a few places in Tuscany for our 3 weeks there in a month's time.

For my children's safety. I'd rather stay in a hotel.

At least i know that there's CCTV recording of the lobby etc, maybe even hallways.

 

Seriously, u'll never know whenever something like this will happen. But it's less likely to happen in a hotel.

Well, i won't mind AirBnB for some places like japan, australia etc. But i will never ever consider for Europe and some other countries.

Yup I'll take my chances with the CCTV.

Doesn't mean you can't turn into a ren rou cha sha bao in a hotel. But I'll rather take my chances in a proper hotel.

Ya quite true.  After reading about racism on the airbnb's owners in the Europe and USA  as well as the fire in Grenfell Tower in England, I'll think twice.

 

They dislike Asians and we are Asians!

I read that City Inn Tai Chung is not bad.

 

Taiwan Airbnb should be no problem.  Just make sure you open the window when bathing.  There's 2 cases of Singaporean being hospitalised due to the water heater.

It's a business hotel for taichung. So only 2 single bedders or 1 queen bed.

We are looking for those 2 queens in 1 room type.
