Dammit, why need to remove Keppel club golf course? Nice and green mah....

[thumbsdown]

makes more money selling as condo.

looking at all the green corridors earmarked.. me thinks there are lots of input by ang mo FT on the city planning.. just doesn't gel with the efficient use of land theme in the other parts of the plan. more like "lifestyle" and up market real estate more of the theme.

the industrial plans seem to be in conflict with the cheap labor trend.

developers will huat more looking at the plans.

URA masterplan does not look like a "Singaporeans first" plan.

why? does it say s'poreans not allowed to walk into marina south or the southern waterfront or make use of the parks & greenery?

it looks more like a Rich first plan... but that is to be expected. to think otherwise would be foolish

southern side of singapore is becoming like rich man play ground so it look like a "$$ first, Singaporean last" plan.

I thought yesterday's TV news reports on it was cringe-worthy.

First talk about report, then go into propagenda overdrive by interviewing 'experts' who say it is well balanced except maybe will dilute charm of Holland V. I will find any 'expert' who says he needs time to really study the plan before giving any comment, more credible.

the experts are the "scholars" inside URA,

So we need to trust them since they are the "expert" when our common sense already telling us that singapore is already overcrowded and the masterplan is just a nicer name for the "white paper".
