Sci10213 3rd Gear November 18, 2013 Share November 18, 2013 My friend, W, recently asked me for advice. One of his friends, X, was worried about his health recently as he suspected he contracted AIDS. Becos he played around before his recent marriage. Now X is unsure to go for testing or not as he is afraid of the positive outcome. W asked me what would I advice if I were him i.e. W? Obviously it is easy to ask X to go for testing or perhaps anonyomous testing but the key here is to put yourself in X's shoes? If the outcome is positive, X will face shame from family, friends & relatives. Worst of all, his wife may be infected as well or leave him... MCF Bros, what u think the advice should be? ↡ Advertisement

If X really loves his wife and family, he should go for the test. Whatever the outcome, he should be responsible. Reality sucks but can't help it. Hydrocarbon Turbocharged November 18, 2013 Share November 18, 2013 Go for test. If negative, good for him. If positive, inform his wife and his ex-es / fbs, ons (those can he can contact, and have had sexual contact with during the duration of his infection). Else, if don't inform, his wife also will find out in 10 years or less. And if she get preggy, baby also might tio, which makes it worse.I know it's bad either way, but just go for it. TVT Supercharged November 18, 2013 Share November 18, 2013 X should have done an AIDS test before marrying. Anyway....at his situation now, he doesn't have much choice at all. He needs to go for the test. And if positive, X should call up all his ex and inform them. Yes, he got to inform them. Or else, MOH may do "it" for him.... That why must use condom...can google, got anonymous aids test , I think near lavender.result know in 1 day I think you are referring to the clinic at Kelantan Lane....?!?!

Mcf777 Turbocharged November 18, 2013 Share November 18, 2013 Heard Kelantan clinic dont need to register yr name. All checks are done anonymously.
Celicar Turbocharged November 18, 2013 Share November 18, 2013 Difference between test and not test is whether X will know. But whether he know or not, he has AIDS or not is cast in stone, is a fact already. Test and face reality. After that, regardless of result, don't sleep around anymore. TVT Supercharged November 18, 2013 Share November 18, 2013 Heard Kelantan clinic dont need to register yr name. All checks are done anonymously. Yes, no need to register. They will give you a number, that number is all that can "identify" you. Heard also that clinic is operated by volunteers, not MOH staff.
Baal Supersonic November 18, 2013 Share November 18, 2013 If X really loves his wife and family, he should go for the test. Whatever the outcome, he should be responsible. Reality sucks but can't help it. agreed. If really tio , heard that there this "triple cocktail" treatmnent in Thai. About 1500 SGD for 1-2 mths supply. Generic of course. Also read that with this, the levels can be so low that will test negative. But once stop, the levels will be up. But really, go test. Will be triple tragedy if new born got infected.
