Tanly Neutral Newbie November 16, 2013 Share November 16, 2013 Think he dun really understand whats 'IMPORTED USED' he thinks his car was imported and oso used thus imported used *lol* No way he can import such an old car when the car stopped production like more than 10yrs ago. If he found a way to do so I dun think he would have imported an NX Coupe but more like an RX7, R34 or NSX *lol*
Fastfive1 5th Gear November 16, 2013 Share November 16, 2013 Haha this car. I think it might have been an error on the person's part. The COE was probably extended on 29 April 2009. FYI: The owner comes from a damn rich family which lives in Serangoon gardens. They own a few cars.

Ezfaun 3rd Gear November 16, 2013 Author Share November 16, 2013 I see. And to think I was getting my hopes up to import a car here. But a few years ago on SHC, I saw someone import a CRX del sol from japan. Kind of sad because now I have the money to afford the car that I want, apart from the fact that it doesn't exist anymore. If anything I feel that the gov should let owners keep their old sports cars to at least preserve it. I've seen a nice Silvia S15 being cut in half to be exported. Damn heartless. If you want to preserve it, I think you can "lay up" the car. But it will not be road legal and you have to find a place to keep it. Good thing is you can keep extra few years without the need for insurance/road tax. bad thing is, it is only for a few years. http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onemotoring/en/lta_information_guidelines/maintain_vehicle/lay_up.html Edited November 17, 2013 by Knoobie
