Agree 100%. Had dinner once at Ocean Restaurant at RWS; food portions were really small but not cheap. Was still very hungry after the meal that I ended up buying wanton mee back home.

Ya, I too think It’s for the ambience and presentation, there are actors ( the one who host to try to impress) and there’s audience ( the one who gets invited to watch the elaborate show)

 

Was working part time in a fine dining place Long ago.even as a teen, that was my impression.
