By the way, Steve Clarke kenna the chop at WBA

big surprise....

to me he is keeping wba alive.. which is where they should be...

there are def 3 worse teams than wba in the division, chopping Steve may not be a wise decision, unless they can replicate Soton.

Skrtel for me...

Agger i feels get out muscled easily.. but he is much better striding forward

someone should try Agger out as anchor

Err... lets focus on spurs game first

Did not watch any spurs game this season but one man is gone: Bale

Bale alone will pin down our right flank

As a result, Lucas (or whoever playing DM) were always pulled to the right leaving the other holding midfielder exposed. This was what happened with Charlie Adam...

Without Bale, our right flank shld hold up better.

Modric also gone ... we might hv to "deny" spurs the use of midfield n depend on an Coutinho - Suarez axis to prise open spurs defence... trying to do a barca will be suucidal

IMO

if we start positive, get an early strike, we will win... the longer it drags on, the more likely we will lose.

i am thinking if we can play 5 at the back.... KT as RWB, GJ as LWB, 3 CBs with Agger as free man, Skrtel and Sahko as traditional bullies

Allen, Lucas and Henderson will start for this match... so will Coutinio and Suarez.

If we play 4 at the back, expect Sterling to play and Agger to miss out. i am not confident of Flanagan as LB though

question would be which one would u sell? Think both will bring in decent money in transfer market.

If there a ready replacement in the current squad if the new one we buy from sales of either don't make it?? If no. Then I won't sell either.
Agger.

Agger will fetch more money n he is older.

Skrtel is a very good ball winner especially in the air... like what one of bros said... put him w hyppia type n u will see his value...

I am willing to sell both if they can bring in 30M

Suddenly Lucas has become a liability...

Think the problem with Lucas is that he is very discipline that he hardly do things that the manager tell him not to do. So u don't see him attack as often as we will like.

If ars can lose like that, im really afraid for pool. Their attacking really good sia...

Don't worry. They do well against top team nia. We are not the so top team yet.😂😂

Anyway, they scored big against asernal and Man U likely because both play a open game with them. If Liverpool were to play a close game or slow passing game. We might actually win as we don't let them get into tempo.

erm maybe with a stronger center midfield i would say yeah. Well let's see how our midfield does against yaya and fernandinho. In some way u can say that tonight can also see that. paulinho and dembele ...

MATCH PREVIEW TOTTENHAM V LIVERPOOL

Tottenham play host to Liverpool at White Hart Lane where they will be hoping to improve their home run form for this season. Only Aston Villa, (6), has scored fewer home goals than Spurs, (7), this season in the Premier League. In their last six Premier League games, Tottenham have won two, drawn two and also lost two, the two wins coming recently away against Fulham and Sunderland both of them winning 2-1. AVB will assess both Danny Rose and Christian Eriksen as they return from injury and he will judge whether they will be fit enough to play in the fixture. Defender Jan Vertonghen is out with an ankle injury as well as Vlad Chiriches with a knee injury as does Younes Kaboul with problems to his quads, apart from which they have a fully fit team. AVB will be happy with Tottenham scoring twelve goals from their last five games in all competitions including a Soldado hat-trick on Thursday night against Anzi.

Liverpool will be hoping to bounce back to second place with a win following the weekends results so far that have seen the club fall down to fifth. Liverpool will be feeling confident having won Norwich 5-1 as well as beating West Ham 4-1 last week with Suarez scoring some amazing goals placing him at the top of table in the race for the golden boot with 15 goals in 10 games, however Liverpool have only one clean sheet in their last twelve Premier League games which Brendon Rodgers will hope to be sorted out today. In their last six games Liverpool have won three, drawn one and lost two in which they only have one point from their last three away games. Liverpool will be out without Captain Steven Gerrard suffering from hamstring injury in which Suarez is looked to be leading the squad out today as Captain. As well as this both Jose Enrique, (knee), and Daniel Sturridge, (ankle), are out with their injuries, although Daniel Agger is back from illness.

Head to Head between the sides at White Hart Lane, Liverpool have lost their last six visits, four of which have been 2-1 defeats, although Liverpool did beat Tottenham 3-2 at Anfield in March which was a thrilling match to watch. Furthermore in this fixture between the sides it has seen the joint most penalties in Premier League History with 17 along with Everton v Newcastle , though 11 of which have been at Anfield. This looks to be another thriller of a game with goals seeming to come from both sides. This is surely one to watch.

Pool's record at whl is not good. Hopefully pool can stop spurs fm scoring, which has been spurs' prob, n get back to 2nd. That is how close the table is. 1 loss is all it takes to drop a few places.
