That leaves a lot for Allen to live up to but Rogers insisted: I would have paid many millions more for this kid. Hes unique in that hes a British player who is incredible on the ball.

His body work is very intelligent and for a 22-year-old its frightening. Hes incredible.

then why can't he get into the team? [:p]

Cos whenever he plays, BR get frightened !

Becos SG is legendary, Lucas is the only proper DM we have and becos henderson is playing well.... not to mention that coutinho will start once he is match fit

LOL.

Anyway hope to see Joe Allen playing some time. He has had a long lay off from injury, should let him get some gametime now before the season starts to get into the Xmas period.

Midfield wise, BR knows that SG will definitely take a back seat soon... Lucas is recently linked to Napoli... it might start to fall into place nicely if the two seniors are gone and we grab a upcoming hardman... 4 young midfielders fightung for 3 slots...

His other headache is his 4 Senior CB and at least 3 upcoming ones... maybe time to convert Agger to DM?

Yes draw is the obvious choice BUT to some extent if Arse can win and kick man u further down and it helps to further damage 1 of the rival's chances and to that extent, we will have less 1 rival to contend with. Not sure if u get what I mean.

Ya my answer is draw cos rivals dropped a combined 4 pts.

If Arsenal win, MU drop 3 pts n vice versa

I m practical, I prefer all rivals to drop points cos points are what matters in our pursuit for UCL qualification

Best if rivals draw against rivals

The Liverpool boss changes the shape of his side and brings Daniel Agger back in to partner Martin Skrtel in a back-four. Glen Johnson returns at right-back.

Philippe Coutinho returns to the side after missing seven games through injury. Jose Enrique is back in the squad after three games out but is only fit for the bench.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Cissokho, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Suarez, Sturridge.

Subs: Jones, Enrique, Alberto, Moses, Sakho, Allen, Sterling.

replacing Cissokho with Enrique will have what I consider the real best XI of Liverpool.

Think not match fit

Looks like a 4-4-2 to me.

actually look like 4-3-1-2 to me. but then again... depending it might actually be 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-2-1

think 4-3-1-2. Neither henderein nor gerrard is a winger. N coutinho is definitely playmaker with suarez n sturridge upfront. This could b the preferred formation if all players available.

Eventhough toure is playing very well, i guess it is better to cont playing a pair of CB who will b there for the long run.

Given his age.. its only wise to rest him before the December heavy schedule come in.

Not watching but I thot hendo will likely be on the right side though tucked in to allow Johnson to go down the right.

Coutinho usually starts from left in Midfield. Suarez n Sturridge will interchange in the middle.

Skrtel!GOAL! And now it's 2-0! Martin Skrtel meets Steven Gerrard's corner with a thumping header

Quick goals putting the team in a comfortable position. Great header by skrtel! Deserves it for the gd performances he has been putting in.

Johnson is so gd going forward so far. They hardly play fm the left. Cissokho must b feeling lonely.
