it's an EK4

Confirmed ... it is a PreFL EK ... l used to drive the same car.... this model start production in 1995 and FL in 1999... so this car definitely more than 10 years.

Confirmed Not a AWD Car !

Confirm total loss liow....

I find it hard to believe if the driver tell me he's not speeding. seen lots of accident before this kind of damage with

no one wacking from the back is really extensive...

definitely does not look like a 5-door to me. Car more like 20+ years old. Sometimes wanbao info not accurate one. [whip]

but some say less than 20 years, how will a reporter (who doesn't know much about car) to verify the information fast enough to publish the report?

The most accurate news paper reporting is the DAY & DATE [thumbsup]

yeah, how come the paper mentioned that its an old car but well maintained, so ruling out the possibility of mechanical fault? [rolleyes]

Agree .... for them the juicer the better ........ for any news. Accuracy not the most critical. When I want juicy news, I go for New Paper, XinMin and Wan Bao.

The older civics are notorious for hugging trees or splitting up... Many cases before. The power to weight ratio is off even for stock cars.

the eg/ek are over powered. same as the daihatsu gtti. some more, these cars don't have the modern electronic to stabilize it.

Young and inexperience driver.

RIP.

Young and foolish driver rather, to speed until like that. This is the worst - you don't kill yourself but you end up killing someone else. RIP to the deceased.

Not really leh.....was driving a SIR previously, I did not find a tree to hug after driving for 2 years.

really boils down to the driver...also mod the car put this put that, in the end for the sake of my kid and family just

downgrade to a MPV better driveable option.

Honda is a major if not leader in bike manufacturing. Their power to weight is like that. Years back I ever commented to a pal that from the P to W & the way they love to rev, its like they make 4 wheeled bikes. Just like the prev CRX. 130hp to 880kg kerb weight ? Its like a Picanto with 1 bar boost.

its not me who say eg or ek likes to hug trees lah. I only said these models are overpowered. under the hands of a chiu cheng kai, it will be deadly.

110% agreed. its the driver, not the model or the brand. [thumbsup]
