Beregond Supersonic November 14, 2013 Share November 14, 2013 Putting on the new pair tyres at the front instead of the back is NOT RECOMMENDED. The new ones should go to the back. Your rear loses grip, you get oversteer and this is much more dangerous and harder to correct than any understeer caused by lack of grip from the front two. not many ppl understand this theory, for most car in the safety aspect view, rear tyre more important then front, yet alot of tyre shop still recommond driver to put botak tyres in rear, and tell them next time then change, if jun jun raining day he jam back, and the tail side spin, then whos fault ↡ Advertisement

Baal Supersonic November 14, 2013 Share November 14, 2013 For me who does 1040km per mth on average, I pump once a mth. Front 240 Back 230. Now that its monsoon, i'm trying 235 / 225 kpa. Btw, if go back to same shop when bought tire, how much $ to pump nitrogen ?

Jamesc Hypersonic November 14, 2013 Share November 14, 2013 Btw, for tire pressure, it's not every 10k then check once.. I check and pump my tires every alternate fuel run (or once every 2 fuel run). Tire pressure will surely go down and you won't be able to see it even if you are using hydrogen gas. I think you fill your tires with nitrogen and not hydrogen? Isn't hydrogen the one that is dangerous and can explode if burst?
Baal Supersonic November 14, 2013 Share November 14, 2013 So 1 time give $20, then can keep going back to the same shop to pump foc ? Or subsequent is $2/tyre ? Oh since rear is more important, I have a collegue, he uses 195/55 -15 for front & 205/45 or 50 -16 for the rear. He rationalise that front don't be too big, lose pick up, increase FC. Back put wider tyres to look bigger & sportier. I told him u win liao. Oh hes driving a CS3. Lancer

flashbang Turbocharged January 15, 2016 Share January 15, 2016 Noticed this after I parked at office carpark this morning. Had to rush for early morning meeting, full day schedule. Am I in trouble? Happened overnight? It might have been a slow leak over a long time before you finally noticed it. I make it a habit to check all 4 tyres every now and then before driving off. Any one can recommend tire rescue workshop that still operates in the evening? Plan to head for nearby kiosk to pump up then head for workshop see if can salvage
