bro, what is your insurance company? Since you are rear ended, the van driver has to be responsible. The claiming part is for the insurance company to settle. You just make your report and get any trusted workshop to have it fixed.

AIG doesn't want to do any 3rd party claims. And it's difficult to claim from any workshop outside as most afraid they can't get money from the Malaysian insurance company.

Very complicated.

Anyway already mutually settled and changed to a new bumper at an outside workshop.

Cheaper than what Borneo quoted.

new car, should be the in house insurance... now still AIG for Toyota Borneo Motor?

Yes it is. Too bad kanna from Malaysian vehicle. No insurance will claim them.

Shouldn't u be assured of getting it since its guaranteed Coe?

U mean Borneo bid only $66k for you?

It's a good price for the classic, don't worry.

My classic altis was bought at $113k in February. You considered lucky to buy it at $10k lesser than me.

And my Coe only worth $57k. Pui.

But it's been 3 cycles of Coe bidding since your purchase and Borneo haven't got it for you? Did they guarantee the Coe by how many cycles?

like in past discussion, why we the drivers are paying for insurance that does not cover us against foreign vehicles that are allowed on our roads... sigh.

Bro 150km hard to gauge lah..

My Nissan Qashqai already 1.5 months old already have 4000km lol high mileage user. But big suv, small engine but FC better leh.. Funny, I thought sedan 1.6L FC should be better one

I think can not compare 1.2 to 1.6L car leh.

From my experience, toyota can give better fuel consumption than other made with other factors constant.

Obviously a wrong assumption... not all Toyota car give the best fc in its class... This altis f2f is nowhere near mz3 for example...

very subjective because every driver have got different route and driving habit.

I am only getting 10km/l for mostly city driving on the new altis.

Bought my car during CNY 107K non-guarantee COE. Think it's worth to top up 7K for guarantee COE now or wait till May?

When it comes to insurance claims repairs vs personal repairs that we pay to BM, price will differ..can be double for insurance claimable quotes.

Tried to claim my sis's old Corolla in 2006, pick up truck reversed into my front when my car was parked.

In the end still claimed via own workshop, at a price even lower than what BM quoted for non-insurance claim price

Yes, he won't pay extra for the guarantee. SE told him very high chance can get the coe and the car is getting in July.

I also don't understand how they determine the coe amount to go in.

The Madza is even worst fuel consumption. The 1.6L = toyota 2L car. I gave up after 3 years warranty.

very subjective because every driver have got different route and driving habit.

Please read my statement, all other factors being equal.

What I am saying is under same condition, toyota car can give better fuel consumption than other car.

not sure about that, but i understand honda jazz and vezel can do better. Maybe because 1.5L and lighter by 100kg.

The old Mz3 SP was definitely a fuel guzzler. I know cos I owned one before.

But the latest Mz3 with their skyactiv engines are fuel efficient and I believe equal to Altis for FC.
