Karu 6th Gear October 16, 2013 Share October 16, 2013 The Americans are ignorant to say the least... A potential terrorist will never enter US with a real passport, let alone one with all those stamps of the other 'suspicious' countries. They should really pay attention to those 'clean' passports !!!

Americans think their country is the 'world'... Baseball 'world series... NBA 'World Champions' etc... Many of them are really sua ku.... Can't really blame them as S'poreans are within kms to the sea whereas Americans can be hundreds of miles away from either the Atlantic or Pacific... During my uni time, i had a joint programme with students from US. Before they flew over, they had to research on Singapore, and they were surprised that we're not the laid back, 3rd world country which their perception of South-East-Asia is. They're even more surprised that NUS was ranked above many top schools in US.

When I was studying in the UK, my ang mo classmates ask if there are cars and are mobile phones in Singapore [sweatdrop] . Tell them our Toyota Vios can buy a Porsche Boxster there.. I met a bunch of UK students while on a biz trip in Amsterdam. their first reaction when i told them i'm from Singapore is "you have one of the cleanest city in the world". At least the brits bother to look beyond their borders. Not so for Americans. Edited October 16, 2013 by Shull
LoverofCar 6th Gear October 16, 2013 Share October 16, 2013 Their term ''travel for business'' is all about traveling within the states....that was what my new colleague answered to me when I asked about his previous job....I replied...''wow...impressive''......He had never travel out of USA on his job...
