a tank of compressed CO2 is quite huge and heavy! while manufacturer tries ways to lighten the car and increase cabin space, this tank is definitely something that is going against them.

A small tank may not have sufficient to fight the fire when it occurs..

an example of red bull f1 car. to press the extinguish button could also means that they might have to change new engine or gearbox depending on how bad it burnt to.

Yesterday about 5 plus in the evening on AYE to city, also saw a burnt car on the opp direction near Jurong Town Hall Exit on AYE iirc. The firemen were scrapping the burnt stuff on the road and the jam was quite bad

if the ballast installaion is poor or poor quality, it probably will blow.

Poor quality of ballast will overheat and blow.

I've seen one that blew a 15A fuse although it claims to consume less than 6A, luckily for that owner.

If no fuse, then overheat and blow and car catch fire, especially those that wire directly to the battery.
