For the record, or off rather, EA installed 2 AD's SC kit..they were fitted "for homologation purposes". unfortunately, both cars blew their engine. That is why til today, the SC kit never materialised n got LTA's go-ahead. One of the car limped to KL to get it rebuilt and refitted with the SC kit...the other one got it done thru a local workshop..but eventually took it out. To-date, I've known 3 SC'ed & about half a dozen TC'ed AR here....and one running on SC-NOS setup [sly] . and none of them is on LTA Compliant program... [lipsrsealed] so make sure AD has all the certs required by LTA to get it approved, else it'll be a painful journey... [sweatdrop]

Thanks Toey IF I go ahead it will only be with full LTA compliance.

Not sure why engines blowing - the Holden Commodore V6 block (ie the donor block for the AR V6) is offered with factory fitted SC kit and has VERY low level of problems. They use an Eaton SC.

Not so much of the engine block failing, but more to the overall setup. "Engine Blow" can be derived from various aspects... from application(hardware) errors to installation and/or remapping possibly..

So conclusion is, spider guys dont like to drive their spiders.

The buyer's cash cheque bounced.

And my own deposit for a jap wagon had been forfeit [smallcry]

Anyone know which of these is Engine Mount for 2.2 and which of this is Transmission Mount?

i have one at the rear with cracks which requires replacement soon. Is it better to change all 4 altogether? or just the one with cracks?

Ups,

I prefer to change all 4. If not, in time, you have to pay labor with downtime again to get the others sorted in the future.

But that's me. Time is precious. :D
