The dealer got knock of 5 digit discounts for you?

I hope so if you did read my eariler comments.

Took your advice and aggressively nego the price....sending to AS for a through servicing and discovery of the car. There is grinding sound when I stepped on the accelerator (esp thru the higher gears 4/5/6). And when I let go of the accelerator the sound disappears....hmmmm

That's why I asked if you have patience since you've waited so long for this car to arrive.

Higher gears at Low rpm?

Could be your drive shafts or differentials on it's way out.

Best get AS to check and confirm

Good to know that I somehow helped a MCFer.

Grinding sound

Yes. Booked a session on Friday with AS for full body check up and servicing.

Ragazzon

Patience? You mean it is currently in the process of being certified? If yes...definitely. Or try to get it certified

Try FOT when in 3rd gear at 2k rpm, check if your cylinders misfire.

Interesting, there are 2 chicks checking out my GT today.
At West Coast, there is a lady in a TS was looking at me while on the move and at the traffic lights.

The other at my carpark and I took a snap shot of her.

Neutral Newbie

Hey everybody need your help. I am currently in Lumut now and my 159 can't start. The battery is working fine but it just lock down whenever I try to start the car. Anyone knows of any workshop nearby the area? Worst case scenario can anyone refer towing services back to Singapore?

I assume yours is a selespeed. Can you put the transmission into "N"? The car won't start if you cannot put into N. If you can't put into N, is your selespeed motor pump priming (listen for the sound when you open door, insert key)? The pump needs to build up the hydraulic pressure before the actuator will shift any gear.

If you really need help, try to google Alfatech which are specialised in Alfa Romeos. They have workshops in KL and Ipoh.

Sad boxing day for me. Raining in the evening and my driver window refused to wind up. Had to drive with an open window home. Sent car to AS the next day and diagnosed with broken window motor. Cost close to 7 blues to fix.
