I will block them out.. and drive slowly so that the car behind will catch up and also block them out.. + a nasty stare from me.. [sly]

My brother from another mother!!

This is what I do...

But my wife screams at me - she hates me to deliberately block queue cutters...sometimes she will even ask me to "just light them in and don't fight"

Supercharged

I would give way, in such a situation. I always give the queue cutter the benefit of doubt cos he might have missed the exit or unsure of the way...

But if its on the Causeway and if we are queuing into a car park, I would not give way.

Of all things you choose to learn the bad habits of locals...

I would be more gracious to let them in.

errrr......... will you loose anything if you gave way to him .....

Not every drivers are aggressive and sometimes benifits of doubt could be given't to him that he had mis-judged an exit entrance. -_-

If you had seen the same vehicle did this before, then he is wrong. But some drivers who is staying other parts of Singapore and not familiar with that road could had mis-judged the exit. Just let it goes by and someday, somewhere, you might need ppl to give way to you .... [drivingcar]

On almost everything I am gracious - you signal, or turning out from side road, or want to merge - please go ahead and be my guest.

If you think that you are more important than everyone else in the queue, that your time is more precious and that the "rules" of polite society don't apply to you then farkin' screw you, I'll do all that I can to make sure that your rude behaviour doesn't get rewarded.

If he tried to join close to the back of the queue, give benefit of doubt and let him merge, this joker has gone all the way to the chevrons, you really think he didn't know what he was doing? Or mis-judged?

It's pretty obvious what's going on - probably even more so as I expect there will have been the emas warnings of heavy traffic and XYZ exit...

As to lose anything?

YES!!

If we "reward" bad behaviour, and he gets away with it every time, then over time, more people will copy the bad behaviour - with the thought of there not being any "consequences" or people don't care - and then before you know it, hardly anyone will be queueing, all will zoom zoom to the end and then try to merge - and there will really be total chaos.

Same theory as immunisation and "herd immunity" - just one person not immunised doesn't matter, but when people start to think - I don't need to immunise, because everyone else will, then you start to have epidemics.

For queueing - once people start to believe "no need to queue, someone will let me in" then nobody will queue.

Actually this video doesnt show anything meaningful I feel...more of a vent or a rant...with a girl who speaks like a lian & another who speaks with a high almighty tone, "dun worry, I hv my camera", as if having a camera means having the whole world.

Wanna post, pls do post some action packed one, see this video almost doze off to sleep.

Saw a COE civic lost control one night along PIE, the left bend just after Clementi exit, saw the whole episode with gust of smoke from opposite direction..too bad cant have it on camera..a case of over-confidence & lost to road barriers...luckily these type of cars mostly on 2nd party insurance so that driver probably pee in his pants & pay damages till pants drop.

Now this is what I call action..not this video that we heard all conversation..worse the voices were not even voice that were nice.

I see your quote...and raise you this....

Marianne Theresa Johnson-Reddick born Jan 4, 1935 and died alone on Aug. 30, 2013. She is survived by her 6 of 8 children whom she spent her lifetime torturing in every way possible. While she neglected and abused her small children, she refused to allow anyone else to care or show compassion towards them. When they became adults she stalked and tortured anyone they dared to love. Everyone she met, adult or child was tortured by her cruelty and exposure to violence, criminal activity, vulgarity, and hatred of the gentle or kind human spirit.

On behalf of her children whom she so abrasively exposed to her evil and violent life, we celebrate her passing from this earth and hope she lives in the after-life reliving each gesture of violence, cruelty, and shame that she delivered on her children. Her surviving children will now live the rest of their lives with the peace of knowing their nightmare finally has some form of closure.

I can't be bothered, let him in lor. Why get worked up over little things like this? If you block him, got prize to win or money to earn? Blocking is only half a lesson, not a full one (which would require some form of communication).

I lived/drove in KL for a year, the queue cutting in Singapore is child's play compared to what they do there. People are also more easy-going about queue cutters there, everyone just makes space and shuffles along.
