juz bcos i turning right and he going straight?

 

please note that i did not dash the traffic light. i checked and proceed to turn right as it was safe for me to do so. the other driver swerved from lane 2 to lane 3 and hit me when i already almost clear the junction at the pedestrian crossing lane.

 

there is no car captured in the video going straight, not even on lane 3.

50% - 50% from the clip. But really difficult to judge as light is not in your favour. Be prepared to repair for your damage, unless someone from the onlookers willing to be witness and say the other vehicle was speeding or driving recklessly.

i think so too ... you don't have the green turn arrow. just green means wait until clear. if he hit u means not clear (even though road is quite empty and its obvious he should have slowed down)

 

i doubt will even be 50-50 bro. this one might be considered failure to keep proper lookout ...

i think its best to let your insurance take care of it and if the outcome not to your expectations, then take the other car owner to court...

 

even if we say you're not at fault also no use.....you have my sympathy

Regardless of you almost cleared the junction...you got hit before you clear the junction.

 

Unless you have proof of otherwise...I think its likely you will be deem at fault.

Maybe not speeding but like TS says, swerving last min from 2 to 3 like dangerously? Unless got witness else no point going to court

Sorry but what's there to ponder? Clearly it was your fault. The car going straight has the right of way and u dun hv the green arrow in your favour.

no need to fight, you will lose for sure.

 

straight road always have the right of way.. that chap who hit you knows the rules well, he could easily avoid the accident but insist in hitting you, probably he's going high speed based on the clip.

 

this is taken from Bola rules, i had a similar accident like yours few months back and i went 5 lawyers seeking for legal advice and all told me about this bola ruling.
