Appeal for witness at amk ave 3/10 on 020913 at around 1405h

Hi all. Was driving a mercs c180 along amk ave 10 towards amk ave 5. At the junction of amk Ave 3 a car turning right hit me. Now I'm at the hospital with ringing to my right ear as airbag was deployed.

Was very sure light was green for me. The driver in turn accused me that I beat the red light.

Hoping bros that who was there at the point of time could help.

Anything I could do? I do not have car cam in my car.

Thanks. Am okay. Except for my right ear. Just couldn't take it when ppl accuses me that's all.

And abit of heartache. Car is quite new.

if police is involved then can they provide LTA camera footage if there are camera around that junction?

Tp was called in. Yes that junction do have traffic light.

it's pretty common that right turning vehicle hits oncoming car and claims the car beat red light.

wish for you that you get a witness. or else it would definitely be 50/50.

I've personally hit a oncoming TAXI who really beat red light when I was riding bike. but was given 50/50 and 3points deduction for failing to check traffic. which is why the first thing I do when I get a car is buy a in car camcorder.

you should get one too. you never know when you gonna need it bro.

While driving along Upper Serangoon Road at 1 am on May 15 this year, Daniel Shaun, 29, noticed a car with Customs officers following him. He sped up and beat the red light at the junction in an attempt to lose the tail. However, his lorry smashed into Mr Chan Yong Thiang's taxi which was crossing the junction along Potong Pasir Avenue 1.

Surprisingly his kangoo suffered minor dent compared to mine.

Yep. Will get one once the car is repaired. Kinda scared to drive now alrdy. It happened merely for 2 seconds. The next time I know. I was stoning from shock

Yes bro. I'm okay. Just that I'm deaf in the right ear now. Might be due to the impact or the opening of the airbag. Just turn 22 this year and I'm going deaf in the right ear? Sigh
