Ingenius Turbocharged August 26, 2013 Share August 26, 2013 Iran will of cos dont want to see Assad fall in Syria, else they will lose one ally. As usual, after UN conduct investigation of Syria using chemical weapons, the military council members will raise a sanction but China and Russia will veto it. Anyone can explain why China and Rusiia are always siding whatever side the US is against ? Balance of power ?

Ingenius Turbocharged August 26, 2013 Share August 26, 2013 Many say USA is in for the oil only when come to their interference and interest in middle east, but in many sources it was stated that USA actually is the most oil rich country in the world in terms of oil deposits. But then how come they dont harness it ?

But then how come they dont harness it ? before the rise of china , us have been the heavest oil user in the world. not counting in their industry , just the car alone, with the super low price , must ppl can afford gas drinking car, cos the gas is damn cheap in us also. a rise in the oil price will effect us much more then another country. yes us have the most oil reserve. but the market is effected by every player, just need 1 oil production country to screw up for the barrel price to go up. and when u eat alot, it help to have more source to more gas right? Theyre already doing it via shale reserves but still rather eat others first IMO

Lala81 Hypersonic August 26, 2013 Share August 26, 2013 based on wikipedia, syria only no.32 on oil production statistics leh... Anyway one of the reasons why USA is taking a close look at syria is cos' Al Qaeda is openly linked to some of the resistance groups in the country. In a country in turmoil, it is conceivable that they may gain power. then just beside israel. Hoot ah ......

But then how come they dont harness it ? there are rumours that say that US is keeping their own oil reserves. They will want to control other countries' oil first, use and sell off until empty. Then US will be the dominating country with the only oil reserve left in the world, and that's where they will control the world.

Hoot ah ...... theres claim that syria is using chemical weapons against their pple, thats y now UN/US thking of blasting them w latest cruise missiles etc... then after that become another iraq/egypt? R things better after US liberated Iraq? Apparently it was safer under Saddam's regime. Egypt is complete chaos now... If US strikes syria, oil prices will escalate coz iran is syria's ally so gawd knows wat crap iran will do... iran supplies abt 20% of oil demand from north europe i believe... russia is also syrian ally... Ingenius Turbocharged August 26, 2013 Share August 26, 2013 (edited) If chemical weapons were used, can USA don't do anything? Or they will rather not cause a oil price tsunami? This will be a true test of their intent, world peace or not. Edited August 26, 2013 by Ingenius ↡ Advertisement
