Another angle that ties into why Russia is in Syria. 

Of course,  thus doesn't mean oil will flow anytime soon. Russia can still ferment troubles,  or even launch air strikes I guess.

If cheap middle east oil flies into EU,  Russia is dead dead dead.

To outsiders like me, all their flags  look the same..  I saw one post on X that show the difference of HTS (ex-Al Queda associated) rebel flag which many claim is the same as ISIS flag..  One glance , I also say they are the same.

Despite the leader of rebels saying ready to be friendly with Israel, there are fraction of the Muslim rebels that are anti Israel. Also don't forget, ISIS is still a terrorist organization whose ideology center around having a Caliphate. Worries for Christians and Druze. Then there are Kurds and Turks rebel who enemies.

Each side has buffer zone. This one is on Syria's side, so it's an invasion.

Yeah... esp those generic black flag with a bunch of writings.

Merkel was responsible for starting the whole mess. Many want to hold her to task.

She recently .. finally. .. Came up with a book , in it, reportedly she blamed the mess on failure to deport,  not HER decision to open borders.
