Is the steering out of alignment?

I currently have a situation whereby my steering wheel in neutral position is slightly to the left obviously my vehicle will veer left slightly but if the steering wheel is straighten then it does not have any veering movement. How to know the steering wheel is straight? I see my car logo on the steering wheel.. Does it means the alignment is out or the steering wheel need to be corrected?

You need to get the w/s to adjust side slip.

It means when steering wheel is completely straighten with logo at the swee swee position, the car steers to one side instead of heading straight.

 

A lot of Japanese cars seem to suffer from this syndrome.

go to any workshop with the laser imagining alignment 3d . and tell them your problem.

 

my advice is tell the guy your problem and let him solve for u , we dun go straight go and say we want do alignment without stating the problem. wait finish alignment problem still there , he never check and pass car back to u .

Your alignment could be out, especially if you hit something on the road like a pot hole or curb. There could also be worn steering parts which is causing the car wander too. And another issue could be the tires, one might be as simple as being low on air or it could also have a broken belt.

I start to take notice that I have to steer to the right even on straight roads as most roads are constructed with a tilt, higher on the right and lower on left for drainage purpose. When on flat road surfaces, I would not need to do this "correction".

common issue.. just go realign loh. go back dealer and get them to do it. if never do properly repeat till its good

Its not the car that suffers from this.

 

Its the lousy mech who adjust the alignment that never adjust the steering wheel properly after he do the alignment.

 

I always remind the mech to make sure the steering wheel is straight ahead after he adjust the alignment.

the mech will def align your steering wheel and put a stopper there and on the pedals.

When is the last time you do tyre rotation.. before you do alignment checks, maybe check if your tyres are more worn out on the left.

 

Especially if you frequent MSCP since most requires left turn and will result in more wear on your left front tyre.
