bellboy 4th Gear July 7, 2014 Share July 7, 2014 Good News. Wan Bao reported due to abundance of durians supply from Pahang, price drops by 45% for Mao Shan Wang. Price is now $10/kg and forecast to drop further to $8/kg next week. Two of my regular durian sellers today tell me MSW from Segamat and other nearby regions has dried up. So they no supply of MSW, or at most have 20kg per day. Now only waiting for Pahang full harvest next week. Pahang durians are normally chop-head as there are only big few big plantations there, and they operate like a cartel to jack up prices. Sad... Why news so different from Wan bao...

Darthrevan Supercharged July 8, 2014 Share July 8, 2014 Sad... Why news so different from Wan bao... its purely "advertising" to get customers to go down to the durian stalls..and the sellers will promote to you "more expensive" cultivars
