Zxcvb Turbocharged July 18, 2018 Share July 18, 2018 Any Durian plantation that we can visit for good durians in Johor side. Don't bother. All good durians will be taken and ship out to local cities and Singapore in the morning. Left the not so good ones for cakes, pastry, mcflurry, etc. The time and effort to go straight to their plantation is a waste of time. Somemore the workers need to entertain you after a hectic morning rush to pick durians. Think most will just buy from nearby local town or street side stalls in Johor.
phillycheese1966 2nd Gear July 18, 2018 Share July 18, 2018 There is a makeshift durian stall above the bus stop in front of tampines east community centre which is undergoing renovation (tampines st 21). Went there about 3.30pm. Grabbed the 3 for $10 durians. 2 of them were d101/d13 and the last 1 had a greener husk and pale yellow to white flesh, seeds medium sized. This last durian was square shaped like a box. Can anyone enlighten me what type of durian it is ???

Shibadog Turbocharged July 18, 2018 Share July 18, 2018 Look like Pahang is the Shangri la... yes for D24 and MSW I don't like Johor MSW but Pahang MSW is good (generally speaking). When in Johor/SGP, I rather eat Johor variants. Any Durian plantation that we can visit for good durians in Johor side. not sure how far you are thinking of but there are some abt 100km-150km away. pontian, tangkak, segamat the best quality ones are "exported" so don't expect AAA grade.
