Working ah, no time for holiday. Just managed to find some time to take the MTR over and spend about an hour walking.

Went to Holiday Inn basement, most of the shops have nothing on display, empty shelves. I'm sure they will pull stuff out if I asked, but I was just window shopping. Plus my dad was with me (parents joined me on this trip) I didn't want to spend too much time out, he gets tired more easily nowadays.

Empty shelves?!?

I think they have not opened yet or perhaps not really open that day.

Was around 3pm in the afternoon, i thought it was abit strange but figured maybe they don't want to put on display for security reasons. The shops are there, lights on, display cases present, but absolutely nothing on display, not even at the counter inside. Some shops still got people sitting inside but absolutely no merchandise on display.

Came across this HK guy's blog that got some lobangs on Rolex watches and others.  Interesting to know that Malaysia is now a good place for watch bargains.  His Japan lobang is also pretty spot-on - Quark is not the lowest quote you can find although they are more well-stocked that other smaller dealers.

Oh that means they are not open to public at that time.

Must be some special day.

Or maybe festive season, they take customers by appointment basis

Usually the goods are displayed. loads of Rolexes and other popular watches like ap, Hublot patek etc..

I got my JLC from KL in 2014 and it's already cheaper than SGP.

I think it should be better now.

Rolex Milgauss GV owner report in... :inlove:

Rolex Milgauss 116400GV G series is a nice dress watch, clean dial and understated elegant. It’s kinda of a sporty dress watch, heavier and thicker case gives it some casual ruggedness, simply very beautiful and smart looking...

One thing for sure, buy Rolex will never go wrong as the prices kept increasing every year. As Rolex watches are make for the tough, definitely can use it as a daily beater.

It's really up to yourself on which model you like, if you choose a very popular model, you are expected to have 0% discount or even paying a premium for the watch.

The lesser popular models don’t mean it’s no good or lousy, at least you can get a 10%discount off the retail price.
Rolex watches prices are really based on supply and demand, a weaker demand watch may get higher demand in future...we will never know.

PS: 114060 is always in my watchlist; probably will get it in future, who knows...
