Was down at Bukit Batok Nature Park Sunday morning and parked car.

Came back 2 hours later and found a parking fine slip . . . . S$30.

Turbocharged

Many car owners abuse t4he free car park at nature reserve.

Look at punggol watertown area free car park lots.

Many cars that are parked there are residents in that area.

Their bicycle is parked nearby for them to use it to cycle home.

Just write in to appeal. Say you didn't realise they changed the policy.....cos you haven't gone there for a period of time.

Good luck!

I still don't understand how this works. Even when EPS parking is implemented.

It says season parking holders from 10:30pm to 7am, $0.50 per half an hour, free parking on Sunday and PH (7am to 10:30pm).

So if I'm a non-SP holder and intend to park from 7pm-10am weekday?

Actually you should try to appeal, why waste the good money when you have no intention to cheat the system

in your appeal letter, if you end it with this phrase "I hope you are able to give one-off wavier of the fime as it was a honest mistake being made and I'm certain it will not happen again given a second time."

most times, they will close an eye.

No harm trying. However, it is quite strict now. Hradly any appeals get through most of the time.

A lot of these appeals are now handled by FTs, and they will cut all the clauses and templates to reply you. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]
