I not sure about C&C servicing, but for Kah Motors last time, they will go thru a checklist, and brief exterior check to have common consensus of prominent scratches or dents..

Usually I will exhibit to them I'm a picky customer, and they jolly well do a good job, if not their superior gonna have painful ear drums...

Somebody can take photo (with timestamp) on various spots of their car before handlin our precious ride.. Before & After. . See how they can deny.

wah.. dam sianz to know that KIA after sales servicing is so bad. Actually i got a feeling it won't be good judging by the attitude of their sales.. but didn't know its going to be that bad. Isn't there anything we consumer can do to help protect ourselves .. beside regretting that a wrong choice was made?.. K3 so far looks and feels good less the fuel consumption zzz..

Btw have anyone else take a look below the driver seat?.. I happen to look for my coins dropped in the car n saw that the electrical component of the mechanical seat was all exposed.. as in no cover to conceal the circuitry and mechanical motor.. i was thinking if i happen to drop my coins in between the motor or electrical circuit won't it be quite hazardous or at least damage the seat when moving?

Can anyone else confirm that the bottom of the electrical seat is open ? thanks alot

I shouldn't be saying this but CC in Singapore carries Mercedes, Mitsubishi and Kia. Just looking at the sales of Mercedes, Kia and Mitsubishi can go relax one corner.

Read before that apart from Mercedes, the other makes get crap treatment as they are deemed as second class

They have a dedicated lounge and are treated differently.

Profit margin for Merc smelly smelly $30-$40k, this can easily provide a luxury lounge...

Kia is around $10k only...

hmmmm i went to the service centre at Pandan Loop previously, and it was pretty ok.

Car came back from servicing from a minor accident, so far everything is working as it is, and the car was washed and polished nicely with tires kiwied black or cleaned black looking like a new car.

My only negative feedback is that yes, the parts need to be imported from Korea unless it is a "popular" item that always get replaced. One item was not in stock and took 2 weeks to import that part from Korea, which delayed my repairs. Luckily AIG provided 2 weeks replacement car use.....

Wa didn't know Leng Kee svc centre so bad.... it's the nearest one to my house now!

This checking of prominent scratches and dents are due to last time there is one incident whereby a lady after servicing complained that her car being scratched. Since then all AD implemented this rule to minimise any mis-understanding.

icic. Anyway I think its a good practise to ensure all things are clearly hand over & stated to prevent any misunderstanding.

Mine is a forte which I have been driving for 5.5 years. Serviced at C&C for first 4 years and decided to take it out to the "cheaper" workshops. But overall, the 4 years I've service at Pandan Garden Branch, service is not bad. Shared workshop for both Mitsubishi and KIA. Have always been welcomed there with the customer service folks.

But all I can say, servicing at C&C is super expensive. Serving at workshops outside saves me a lot of cash with good workmanship too.

For a Korean make, servicing at c&c is very expensive, definitely more so than some Japanese makes like for Nissan at Tan Chong. I rather have 3 yr warranty if the car is reliable instead of being locked into a 5 yr warranty where I have no choice but to allow them to make abnormal profits to make up for the extended warranty.

The other issue with Kia is the poor stocking of parts even for new models. Can get parts faster from Min Ghee , the local authorized Kia parts stockist but which you can't during the course of the 5 yr warranty period.

Is your body kit fixed?

Yes.. You can see the comparison, though the front & rear kit have machiam don't have, obvious is the side skirts.

Anyway, it's a kind gesture of my SE to top up free before the car collection.

Haha.. Just like the govt hospital where you see the difference in the pirvate patient and the subsidy patient waiting area.

forgot if i asked this before.

anyone installed mudguards onto your Forte K3?

I think is quite practical to prevent additional dirt on the car body when travelling on dirty/wet roads, especially when my k3 is white.

Wonder if it detracts from the looks of the vehicle. what's your opinion on this?

they seem to come as stock in some countries like the UAE
