Yours is Pre FL or FL? If FL, when you pull up the handbrake, it will off. Only when you let go the handbrake then the DRL will light up again. Whattheheck 2nd Gear February 4, 2017 Share February 4, 2017 Dono if I am the only one who encountered this. Don't even know if this is an issue.I noticed that everytime I top up fuel max (slightly overflow type), my max mileage displayed at full tank is always below 600km.This is even if my average fuel comsumption per tank is always above 12km/lit.I complained to C&C before and they replaced the fuel float sensor already in my fuel tank. Mine is the pre-FL K3 SX. If you see the picture, I have already driven 360km. Still got 210km to go before empty tank. My tank average is 12.9km/lit.By right I should be getting 645km in total. So remaining should show (645 - 360 = 285km remaining). But mine only showing 210km remaining. Means I am only getting total mileage of 570km for this full tank. I was wondering, could this K3's calculation be based on 45litre instead? (50litre - 5litre reserve tank?)If that is the case, then the numbers would make sense cos 12.9km/lit x 45litre = 580km. Or is our tank 50 litre + 5 litre reserve tank? Any advice? It is no big issue but I am just curious.

You should just ignore the car computer's figures because you don't know how it's being calculated. I drive a hyundai, haven't reset the FC for almost a year, it shows 7.5L/100km or 13.3km/L. In actual fact I'm only getting 12km/L based on my own records of petrol pumped and distance travelled. After driving a while you will learn by experience how much further you can go and when you need to pump petrol, without relying on the car computer. teomingern 6th Gear February 5, 2017 Share February 5, 2017 (edited) I have the same problem with my Sonata... I've given up lar... the numbers don't add up cos they are just estimated averages I think... My car's tank is 70 L. I can clock up to 640 km on the odometer trip for one tank when the low fuel warning light comes on. I pump when the warning light comes on, and I can only pump 56-58 L. My mileage left on the trip computer is about 60 km when I pump. The fuel left is 12-14 L. So theoretically I should be able to travel more than 100 km since my average fuel consumption is 11.5 km/L... but there's always this 40-50 km discrepancy on the mileage left on the trip computer. ricleosg 4th Gear February 5, 2017 Share February 5, 2017 (edited) i believe it should be 50L full capacity, 5 litres is the reserve within the 50? so 45+5. you should notice the yellow warning light asking you to refuel starts to light up with 70km range left, and once it hits 50km range left, the yellow light starts blinking, which to me should be at the reserve level since it starts blinking? i get about 11km/L on average, my full tank range is usually ard 550km on the meter + - 10km. this works out nicely to a 50L fuel tank full capacity. also when i pump when my fuel indicator starts beeping, i let the petrol kiosk attendant pump to a full tank with auto stop (not overflow), and usually the amount pumped is 45L, which works out in the above calculation also with 5L left or about 50km - 60 range remaining On 2/4/2017 at 12:50 PM, Whattheheck said: Dono if I am the only one who encountered this. I did have some feedback against Niro based from me and my wife, you can check out Niro thread. I don't think is worth the extra unless u uber or do sales which FC is the main consideration.
