flashbang Turbocharged January 27, 2017 Share January 27, 2017 Hi guys I have a Kia Forte. How can i have a 3rd key done for my car ? I needed one for my daughter in case she needs it.... Thanks in advance :) Wouldn't it be easier if the key is left at home if the car is at home? Or you have a case where 1 person drives it out, and another person takes the car from outside? Labour charge is around $20-30 only.

coolbluepica 2nd Gear January 31, 2017 Share January 31, 2017 I have a Pioneer under seat sub to let go, if interested pls PM. Thanks I have a Hertz 5 ch Amp to let go too. Interested pls pm me. 10k servicing can go any workshop, it's just engine oil change, no need to get ripped off. Labour charge is around $20-30 only. No need to save until like that and void your warranty. Outside workshop might not do a good job. Remove 10 screws put back 9. And without warranty, do u know how much a steering rack costs? About $2-3k. That's without warranty price. With warranty everything is free. Thanks bro... hows your experience for their costs of servicing? (10K, 20K, 40K, 80K) Harmony not cheap also. They only use S-oil at $128 subj GST, no tyre rotation. And the mechanic dirty and sweaty sit on your posh leather seats. Uses OEM parts although printed Kia on it. Vinceng Turbocharged February 1, 2017 Share February 1, 2017 K3 comes in both 1.6 turbo and 2.0 N.A. in Korea and other markets like USA. The Singapore version is a tad underpowered for the 1.6 N.A. engine to drag 1.3 tonnes of metal around.

The Singapore version is a tad underpowered for the 1.6 N.A. engine to drag 1.3 tonnes of metal around. if this comes K3 will be under Cate B..which will not have a competitive edge over other brands... Unless they downsize the cc and add turbo charge to lower FC while keeping below 130bhp. This will increase cost which may affect either the number of features or the price of the car Edited February 1, 2017 by Kwoni
teomingern 6th Gear February 1, 2017 Share February 1, 2017 That is Lx trim right ? Very basic car.Yeah... comes with steel rims. I saw one that day... I wonder what else they strip off... I won't say that outside workshops are not good lar... authorized dealers also don't always do a good job... and there are workshops which are conscientious and do good jobs... I personally use my own mechanic... major or minor replacements for my old Subaru Impreza, all done well... no issue... drive until 9 years old... I personally use my own mechanic... major or minor replacements for my old Subaru Impreza, all done well... no issue... drive until 9 years old... Problem is outside workshops don't have SOP. It all depends on individual Mechanic to carry out diagnosis and depend on his mood. At AD, they have SOP to follow and proper handling of our car. I learnt it when I don't my valve gasket replacement outside, still leaking oil. No choice went to AD and was told that the rover cover bolts have not been tightened to specific and equal torque throughout. ↡ Advertisement
