Booked my EX several weeks ago @ 93999 SGD + 3k (due to 3 bids GTD)

Freebies include:

-1k off (so effectively its 95999)

-3 yr free servicing

-Motrex HU

-Rike Cool Solar Film

-3A Carmats

No front camera :(

I find the pricing for k3 quite expensive if compared with elantra, wonder why?

usually the 3 years free service package is for those who paid for guaranteed bids. something to entice the buyers in thinking they are not paying and extra 3k in cash, but getting the free service that is worth "~2k"

The incremental value of the 3 year free servicing by CnC is around 1.5k.

And I was "lucky" that the COE went up by 1.5k during my round of bidding but I got it nonetheless.

I thought the 3k was pretty ok

I believe they will get coe for their buyers, since they priced their car price high in the first place, and plus another 3k, surely they will secure for you.

good deal!

I know the SX comes much more features haha. But as someone who has been driving a manual 13 year old car, find that the EX is good enough for me, so didn't opt for the SX.

Maybe during the car expo this coming weekend might have better deals?

Test drove the Mazda 3, Sylphy, Altis, Note, Lancer EX and k3. Finally decided with k3 haha. Good value for money car. The older versions of the cerato are already able to last for 10 years, hopefully the k3 would be able to follow suit.

Pray that gearbox won't spoil after the 5 year warranty period.

don't drive so much then gearbox won't spoil so fast. :a-bang:

I think we must understand from CnC what is meant by 3yrs warranty, is it 1K,10K,20K,30K,40K and 50K service or only up to 20K within 3 yrs.

As it help the buyer to understand better what is meant by their free service.

If they give up to 50K free service, then it is definitely a good deal compare to freebies...

Maybe now they want to push sales, they can give more free stuff to committed buyers.

Mine was pre-FL in Dec 15.

Mine was free 2 years servicing. Parts and labour inclusive.

1k/10k/20k/30k/40k servicing no need to pay a single cent.

So far did til 10k servicing. Didn't pay anything. Take key and go.

Dono if this is the norm.

Yes, FREE means labours and parts included...

But last time, Free means labour only, so can be misrepresent so have to check carefully with the dealer.

for the free servicing, shell engine oil  is free. however incidental parts that need to be replaced due to wear and tear are chargeable, for example air filters. Tyre rotations and engine flush if you let them do it are all chargeable as well.

I made it clear to my SE to indicate parts and labour. So that those parts that are supposed to be replaced during the servicing is not chargeable to me. Likewise for Tyre rotation if it's part of the maintenance work.

Better check with your SE again. Seems he overpromised. Sales staff are separate from the svc centre.

Tyre rotations are not normal maintenence. Just tyre care tricks to prevent uneven tyre thread wear. Not free.

Air filters. Also not free.

My 1k n 10k svc not charged for anything cuz nothing changed except engine oil. Go for your 20k n u will see the chargeable items come in.
