coolbluepica 2nd Gear June 17, 2016 Share June 17, 2016 Which company and what application was this again? 480 per tank is... not the full 50l but about 45 right? (assuming you top up once fuel remaining is about 5l) CS-2 Titanium.
Friendstar Supercharged June 17, 2016 Share June 17, 2016 hi all, my K3 now in 20 months now... I notice that my k3 fuel consumption deteriorating now ... especially since the last 30K services at Kia. on the meter, use to be 8.6l/100km.... now around10.3l/100km... is there something wrong? Anyway, some route changes (additional) from my usual one... more HDB areas.. could that be one of the reasons? By the way, tires, battery, wiper all need to change soon since it is coming to 2 years... My experience. Korean car fc deteriorate quite quickly. When it's new. U can get amazing fc But as time passes... FC of cars like altis will shine.
flashbang Turbocharged June 17, 2016 Share June 17, 2016 Just impressed by the effects of PPS after one month, still good and glossy and good hydrophobic How is your washing? Just wash with normal car shampoo and dry? Got add wax?
Angdao Neutral Newbie June 18, 2016 Share June 18, 2016 Hi all! Collected my car today, came with the thinkware front camera. coolbluepica 2nd Gear June 18, 2016 Share June 18, 2016 How is your washing? Just wash with normal car shampoo and dry? Got add wax? After PPS, dirt tends to stick less and car not so dirty. Only washed once a week at CS-2 for $15. Lazy to wash myself. But if self wash will be quite easy though due to its hydrophobic. I was told that PPS cannot come to contact with wax. It will deteriorate the coating. So no need to wax. The shine always come back after wash.

coolbluepica 2nd Gear June 19, 2016 Share June 19, 2016 When will be a good time to go CS2 to wash? Long queue?Best to go after 5pm. For me once I went at 3:30pm Long queue. If wax can deteriorate the coating, then the coating is not of good quality. Mad detailer, the resident detailing guru, will agree with thisIt's not necessary to wax a PPS. It's 2 different things. PPS bonds to the paint surface but wax only lays on top without bonding. If u want to wax your car then not suitable to do PPS.

I realised i got a stretch of petrol stain at the petrol tank area. I believed is those staff tt help me pump petrol when done didnt do properly, leaving a drippimg stretch of petrol. Just t realised last night only. I tried to wax away but not able to.I only used car shampoo and micro fibre cloth to rub. And it came off. After that I don't allow pump attendant to pump for me as they always drip onto my paintwork. ↡ Advertisement
