KIA K3 Owners check-in!

Morning Everyone,

Just went for my 1k servicing and all 'problems' on my car (K3) was rectified. [thumbsup]

Customer service called me up twice to confirm that my 'request' were dealt with, it took only around 3 to 4 hours to get my servicing done.

After the new change in oil etc etc the car felt smoother and more responsive, In fact at one stage 6 full size grown ups squeeze into my car, for dinner at east coast. :TT_TT: (2 of them were over 6 feet)

Thought my car would break down halfway, but surprisingly the car just felt heavy and gave a smooth ride. [sweatdrop]

So I can safely say the K3 had a surprising amount of power.

Only quip I have about my servicing experience is that no one told me you had to get a queue number for the servicing procedure.

Was dozing at the corner of a comfortable sofa when I noticed numbers were being called and luckily I ask the receptionist who, with a smile, directed me to the queue machine. hee hee (felt like a sotong)

I rate my first experience at C&C a 4 stars, maybe 4 and a half :a-m1212:

I guess most of us didn't know that 1k servicing can do miracles.

I agree. I have loaded the K3 full with lots of people and could still accelerate well.

Just had to be careful with braking distance due to the extra weight.

Comments from my passengers were very positive. The car felt super smooth and fast to them.

Actually the COE system is totally unfair to consumers and big advantage to the car dealers. I wrote letters and articles on this issue few years back with proposed revision but nothing happen.

In a rising COE market, you need to top up. In a falling COE market, dealers make more money as our CPE price is generally peg much lower than current COE prices.

I was lucky to get mine at $43K and still get a rebate of $2K. If COE remains at current levels for next 2 bids you manager a refund of your deposit. It happened to me in 1998 and I ended up buying a 1 year old pre owned car instead.

Good luck!

Its either you top up or get back the deposit. How desperate are you to buy the car?

Yeah I noted that when I travelling 90 km/hr the car dun feel like it unlike my old car that feels very light.

Acceleration is quite brisk considering it has more horsepower.

Yeah those public transport providers declared that they are also fighting for COEs as well. So COE to shoot up is probable.

Not to mentioned that the upcoming car expo event this weekend. Sure a number of orders.

The longer they drag, the higher the chances you have to top up.

yeap, indeed, UBER succeeded in most of the bids.

SMRT/GRAB and Car Expo coming out, doesn't seems good for the COE.

Hi,

I done my thinkware h50 at Han revolutiin, at $188(include installation). Not really fantastic as u cant view the image u are recording in the car as no screen, quality for day is good but night cant see the other car licence plate. Plus u must download the thinkware software before being able to view the recorded files.
