hehe i also have a little kerb rash on my rims too from the MSCPs... i think the sports rims are less forgiving to turning errors compared to normal tires. lucky i could DIY fix and sand/smoothen the affected area and respray gloss lacquer on it.

I may buy that blindspot mirror for tight turns too.... anyone has suggestions if the circular ones or the triangle/square ones are better/more practical?

Mainly the profile is too low so almost all kerb can hit the rim.

For me, I did not hit kerb but mount kerb haha.

Round one seems better for me. Cause can turn and adjust the angle.

I have done both! I also did some polishing to make it look better using 3M foam sander.

I also have small round mirrors costing about $4. They work well for me.

I'm using round ones. Those that can rotate one.

Anyone changed out the original rims and fit back in other rims before collecting their new car?

I wanna use my current car rims but the SE don't have answer for me on how to do it...

Plan was to take out the current rims and swop with the K3 rims => K3 use my current rims, old car use K3 rims.

This also applies to the other stuff I wanna dekit too.... amp, sub etc....

Thanks to all for your kind advice....

Lovely macro shots! Beautiful bokeh.

How much is this model? It seems so detailed I nearly thought they were doctored photos of a real car at first. Large scale one?

1:18 scale. love the details on this car, thats why i bought it for display keke. the details are so fine that the rear wheels have a true spring suspension system, front wheels can turn, boot/trunk can open, and the internals have all the details like seatbelts, mirrors, the head unit is the eurostyle GPS too haha.... only thing is this is the china model, so left hand drive and the front grill is not our honeycomb design.

have a smaller 1:38 scale one on on my K3 dashboard too keke

For $65, that is really an amazing model. What other scale cars does this seller have? Wow!

Anyone using de cruise control button? Jus tried today. No nd step on de accelerator n the speed can maintain at constant speed

That is the exact purpose of cruise control. To maintain the car's speed for you.

If fuel consumption is your number one priority, the Koreans are behind in this regard. But compared to the Lancer EX, the K3 should be better. Most people are reporting 9.5~10.5, sometimes 12.5km/l on the K3.

If fuel efficiency rates very highly for you I recommend you go for the Mazda3 (I noticed you are also looking at this). If a little bit more money is okay for you but you want both power and fuel economy, you can consider Volkswagen Golf or Peugeot 308 (both can do 17.5km/l).

If cheapo car is also your objective and you don't care about frills and gizmos, Mitsubishi Attrage also can do 12.5~20km/l. Attrage underpowered though so it will need to rev a lot to get around, making it hard to attain more than 14.5km/l I think.
