I'm just changing from 4300K to 6000K color. So this should work with no need for any mod. If my car model dun hv ballast, then the stock 4300K won't work from day 1. My model not same as yours, as you need to strip out then install 3rd party ballast n HID bulb in place of the ?halogen? one? Oh I see yours facelift different. I realised nowadays dealers no longer do much local fitted items anymore I was told that EX rims are locally fitted. Only SX comes with everything fitted in Korea. Must check with EX owner to see if the Rim got KIA logo on it or not. If yes, most probably fitted at factory. Rims logo can be easily obtained n pasted.The Kia logo I'm referring is not the sticker. I'm referring to the logo that is embossed on the rim itself. It's behind the rim. Thank you. Correct size should be 235/30R18, to ensure speedometer accuracy. But this size will result in a very bumpy & uncomfortable ride and severly underpowered K3. Thank you. 235/35/R18 can fit without rubbing wheel well. But... 1. It will alter the speedo reading as this tyre's overall circumference is bigger by 1-2%. 2. Profile 35 is very bumpy and noisy. Myself I'm using 225/40/R18 without any problems. Need to know what width of 18" rims are you referring to? The smallest tyre to fit 8.5J is 225.
