I did full ice setup. Yes door speakers is 6.5". After market speakers will not fit, need to custom wooden frame spacer if not window glass when rolled down will hit the speakers magnet. By the way I have a set of Focal K2 Power 2-way to let go.

Thank you for reply :). Currently my ride is an Avante 2009 having front component speakers connected to 4-ch amp. Used to the good sound quality so thought of also switching to component if I replace Avante with K3. Measured the speaker bottom depth to be 5cm is still ok for Avante though. As you said K3 could be shallower. If K3 default sound is acceptable then I don't need to upgrade.

Multi, thanks for reply too. i think most stock speakers are bolted to the speaker holder such that if need to replace, may have to cut through or even saw through the metal holders, ==> permanently destroy stock speakers. Speaker holder is retained to mount new speakers.

It is possible but very tedious since there's a need to add in more modules to make auto climate control work. Came across this guy who converted his 2nd-gen Honda Fit (Jazz) from manual to auto climate control, process looks really long.

For someone looking at Cerato K3 and really want climate control, bite bullet and get SX or check if it is possible to add this feature into the lower EX / L trims at an extra cost.

The Kia Cerato Forte K3 uses the same Gamma engine as the 2009 Hyundai Elantra

Can destroy stock speaker to use the holder. But I'm into sq so using a customized wooden spacer for sound absorption as the stock one is plastic. My speakers can't fit the stock holder too.

My take is it is better to go for EX or SX if you are going to spend a considerable amount of money for upgrades.

At least these accessories and features come stock from the factory and are covered under the 5 year warranty.

If these after market electric accessories are not properly fitted, may cause a short circuit and cause the car to catch fire.

Agreed, if the buyer plans to spend money to upgrade the LX version, might as well take the EX or SX. LX version is quite worth to buy if you do not plan to spend any extra money on upgrades.

I think 2009 Gamma engine is single cvvt whereas the later version is double cvvt.

Is the double CVVT similar in concept as Toyota's Dual VVT-i technology ?

Yes should be the same as almost every car manufacturers uses this feature. I think it's BMW first created this call Vano. Started with single then double. Different manufacturers will name them differently but principal the same.

Dont think LX have. Think even EX also dont have keyless start.

EX got keyless entry which mean press remote to unlock door but no keyless start as it is using key to start.
