Actually cnc svc I think can la. Several yrs ago owned a mit cpt all svc by them. At below 60k km valve cover gasket area abit wet asked them to re-torque but they said must replace. How I know they replace? Saw abit of new gasket seal paste oozed out n oso they obliged my request to take photo of engine internals after removin valve cover.

 

Then when I asked them about timing belt at 70k km if I must chg at 80k km, they said ok to wait till 90-100k km n Cost sone 800-1k.

 

Talk about exorbitant - wc agent isn't?

Went to CnC for my 1K service booked under 60min express. Was offered complimentary car wash. Guy said wash will add another 1hr. Said to go ahead with car wash only if can get my car within 90mins as i got errants to run. Car was returned close to 2hr mark. Question the service guy about 30% discount stated in website if car not service within express time of 60mins. Guy said I took up complimentary washing so no 30% discount as wash will add 1 hr.

 

Now I know why they offer complimentary wash.

 

Next time will insist no wash cos the car wash only so so - still can see some dirt mark. But other than this my first experience was good. Even got my motrex AA enabled. For those who want AA enabled, talk to the audio guy and not the service guy. The one I talked to said only carplay available until i insist some bro here mentioned his car received in Oct had it.

So we must stick with c&c for 10 years servicing if we want to have the 10 yrs engine warranty? Wat is exceptional to do outside? New Tyres and rotation , brake pads & air conditioning?

Can you explain exactly what you got with motrex AA over carplay and whether this was using Apple or Android connection?

I'm using samsung s7 so needed android auto instead of carplay (already activated in my motrex) which is meant for Apple hp. Like some said, nothing fantastic about AA but it does allow me to use (for now) the call, music player, google map and msging (via voice control) features in my hp via the motrex interface. Don't have to fiddle around with the tiny hp screen n risk getting caught by TP too. Hopefully more AA compliant apps will be release for car users to exploit the functionality of the smart phone

K&N filters not that worth it. The oil used to lubricate the filter will slowly end up in your engine and may cause increased engine wear and tear. 

 

In 10 years, engine filter only need to change 5 times, cabin filter change 10 times.

my motrex aa was already activated when i collected around end-oct. 

 

i find it useful for calls, and gps but google map always lagging and sometimes hang - could be cable issue.

I havent encounter google map lagging yet. Though have encounter google map not connected to internet during initial setup for journey even though my hp 4g showed data trasmitting. Had to wait awhile before i could key in or "voice" in my destination
